Don't use this driving school if you don't want to pay for lessons you'll never receive. I paid $950 for ten lessons and they only gave me three. They promised me my money back and never gave me my lessons or a refund back. I am disgusted at the way they treat our US service members. No one deserves to have their money stolen. read more

Everything was great until my son had to go to take his in-person test. The place wreaked of cigarette smoke and the whole time he was taking the test a man working there was talking very loudly. He was using profanity on the phone and had complete disregard for my son's needs. The online course is good as is the customer service over the phone. The ladies there were very helpful. Company/owner scams people and leaves Special Needs student stranded at remote location. If I could select no star I would. The owner, M.R., told me private lessons are 2 hours each and for 6 lessons for total of $550 for my special needs son. I verified this twice with the owner before he took my credit card info and days later I received an unfilled contract requesting a signature, the first clause stated 1 hr lessons. I returned contract stating the owner quoted 2 hr lessons and remaining contract needed to be completed outlining what I had paid for and breakdown of rates per hours. UpdTed contract was sent back to me next day with hours corrected to 2 hrs per lesson. The day efore my son's first lesson, driver called to verify pickup info for his "one hr lessons". Told driver signed contract was for 2 hr lessons, not 1 hr lessons, so Driver contacted school next morning and called me 40 minutes before scheduled pickup stating owner would not honour the contract and if I wanted my special needs child, who was already waiting to be picked up at the scheduled remote locations, I had to agree that I accepted the $550 was for 6 1-hr lessons instead of the contracted 2-hr lessons. Called school and was hung up on, called back and staff said owner refused to honor signed contract. THEY LEFT MY SPECIAL NEEDS SON STRANDED AT A REMOTE LOCATION Office staff next day agreed to honor the 2 hr per lesson contract then next day website showed temporarily closed and voicemail went to Premier Renovations. Driver said that office manager was stealing money, drivers were not getting paid, students were not getting certificates for classes completed, drivers just let go were using drugs, another customer (on same night as was quoted to me) were told by owner the same price for 2-hr lessons and DMV license to operate as school was lapsed. Then driver said to get refund I had to ask my credit card company for refund...and this is what they were telling all customers to do. Then an email came to me saying owner had been criminally charged. I still have not recieved refund or the contracted 6 2-hr lessons. read more

A class some of us may need one day or another. Don't judge. My teacher was Greg. He is definitely informative on all things driving. For class you should plan for 8 hours. There is a combination of discussion and videos. A lot of jokes and seriousness throughout the class. After second glance you will realize your in the right place despite the storage units downstairs. Your classroom is big enough to hold 24 kids and a teacher snugly. There is even a vending machine if your desire to munch outweighs your desire to save money. Bathroom facilities conveniently located inside! It's not that bad; it's all what you make it! read more

After I passed the online portion they promised to call me to put me on the schedule and I got forgotten about. Twice. I had to wait over 2 months to finally get put on the schedule, and I had to be the one to keep calling them, despite being promised a call back. I didn't take lessons, I had the 7 day road test instruction. On day 1 they called that morning to tell me I was double booked with another student and asked to push my time for all instruction thereafter. After that was sorted, they went to the wrong address, despite me telling them 2 months prior I had moved AND they confirmed the correct address with me when I was finally put on the schedule. So day 1 of my instruction was only 20 minutes instead of the 50 I paid for. I was double booked for a lesson on Wednesday and after the instruction ended on Tuesday I confirmed with my instructor for the following day. Wednesday comes and I'm waiting for over 40 minutes trying to call my instructor with no responses. When I called the driving school they tell me how he had a doctor appointment and they thought he was going to call me, and he thought they would. Everyone has to pass the buck. They tell me for my inconvenience they will pre-sign my paperwork and I can receive that on Saturday, assuming I pass my road test, instead of specifically coming in on Monday to pick it up. Saturday comes for my road test and I'm told minutes before the test begins that they don't have my paperwork and no one wants to come in so I have to go in to pick it up on Monday anyway. And my instructor tells me he called them to make sure I was notified of the abrupt cancellation for my Wednesday instruction and they assured him they relayed all relevant information and I was called. This whole experience dragged on and was a complete nightmare. The office is mismanaged to a sickening degree and I can't be more grateful that it is finally over. Unless you want to be their babysitter, DON'T USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL! read more

While the instructor I was with (Greg) was a very friendly guy, lighthearted, and showed that he respected our time, I was put off by the unprofessionalism. I don't expect a DMV driving school to be "hyper-professional" in any way, but the instructor made some off-handed comments that significantly reduced my respect in him as well as affected my overall view of the business. Arguably sexist remarks and actions (comparing a wife to an airbag, using "hot babes in a wet-shirt contest" as an example for one of his illustrations, mischievously gazing at a female customer's rear-end as she walked out) were not only unnecessary, but unacceptable. As a business owner myself, I would not recommend this business simply due to this reason alone. There are other issues that I experienced with this business in particular, but all were forgivable. However, the unprofessionalism of the environment was enough for me to write a poor review, despite my discomfort with writing such reviews. I appreciated the breaks, finishing in a timely fashion, answering questions, and even the use of humor to enliven the class. It was definitely fun and interesting for an 8 hour course. However, such humor should NEVER dip into the realm of blatant immaturity, primarily considering sexual matters. read more

I was very lucky to find this place on my search bar. The instructor is a very experienced teacher and a good source to learn the right way of doing things. He made the class time flies by and his guidance while conversing made me feel comfortable and aware at the same time. He loves his job. They also accompanied me to take the test at the DMV and even though it's not their fault that I failed the road signs test, they didn't charge me anything since I didn't take the actual road test. I passed the second day but they still did not charge me. Now I have my license thanks to them. It's truly affordable and they mean it. I took the 6 hr class with Bonnie, she was very patient and friendly. I didn't had much practice with another vehicle at home so I decided to take the adult waiver class with them as well. Ryan immediately recognized what my weaknesses were and addressed them during our practices as needed, his approach is a conversation not a lecture. I learned to become aware and multi task the necessities of driving. I learned to become comfortable behind the wheel, developed confidence in my driving and learned a lot more than I expected. The customer service is a 5 star service. The vehicle that Ryan used was very comfortable to handle. Choosing this school is one of the best decisions that I have made, in fact, on days when work had overloaded me my classes were enjoyable, nothing felt like a task. Ryan was my driving instructor. He was very patient and very calm. 2hrs went by quickly, we conversed and he def did well done job/multi tasker. I didnt take the test right away after i finish all my sessions. But i finally passed after few road test in NY kept me failing. Def in VA is not too strict and you dont have to be perfect. The program is long but the instructor works hard to keep you engaged and adds the right mix of video, lecture and breaks. I gave it 4 starts due to poor ventilation in the classroom. This place sucks! They are horribly run. I took the online driver safety course which is 8 hours. I went to go take the final at the office and couldn't find it. When I called the guy told me they weren't open on Tuesdays. So I told him I'd come back the following day. When I did the lady there looked confused when I told her I was there to take my final test for the online class. She said those tests have to be taken by appointment only. I told her the guy I spoke to never mentioned that. So the guy calls me to make an appointment. He was difficult to deal with. We finally settled on an appointment on the following Tuesday at 9am. He also told me they only accepted cash which is ridiculous for a company that has a computer, internet connection and a cell phone. When I showed up he wasn't there. When I called he didn't answer. When he finally called back he claimed he never made an appointment with me and doesn't make appointments on Tuesdays because he does in car instruction on that day. It was absolutely infuriating. They shouldn't even be in business because customer service is obviously not their priority! I have wasted my time taking this class online and can't even take the stupid test to receive my certificate of completion. Now I have to start all over again with another company. It's absolutely maddening!! read more
