I arranged an end-of-tenancy clean, however, my new tenant said they did not clean properly and the clean was superficial. They also broke my cabinet door, which they denied doing. I then got them in for a second clean, stupidly after paying them first, so they did not turn up and pretended they called me, when they didnt, I called them multiple times which got declined, when I called the office on a different number they answered straight away so they were screening my calls. We had arranged for an end of tenancy clean in Basingstoke today. They were due to arrive at 1:30pm and had quoted my partner £190 for the work. At 1:42pm they called my partner to say that they would be a "little late" as they were at a job in Oxford, and as a result the earliest they could arrive was 3pm. After the call, my partner asked via text if there would be any discount, and was told that they were "looking into it". The next contact was at 3:06pm, asking if we could be at the property in about 10 minutes or so. Upon arrival at the property, two men came into the block of flats with us while we enquired about the discount that their colleague was "looking into". They had a brief phone call before saying that they could not offer a discount (despite it being almost two hours late due to their own planning/booking and no fault of ours), before changing their story to state that my partner had already received a discount (for reasons unknown) and that the quote would normally be £250. My partner had had no knowledge of this "discount" and we said to them that unless they offered a discount on the £190 charge due to them being almost two hours late, we would be looking to book with someone else. They offered us £10, which we turned down as it was basically nothing, and the conversation ended. We went upstairs to my partner's flat, while they went outside to their car. A few moments later, they let themselves back into the block of flats (they must have left the front door open as there is a code required that they did not have) and came back up to my partner's flat, knocking on the door aggressively and repeatedly calling her phone for the next 10-15 minutes despite receiving no answer - they were two large, fully grown men being aggressive, and my partner is a petite woman, so she was understandably fearful and anxious in this moment. They eventually went back outside, albeit hanging around the front of the building and ringing the flat's buzzer before eventually driving off. No money was exchanged because no service was given, but I would strongly suggest that people do not use this cleaning service as they were unprofessional, rude, aggressive, and their behaviour was absolutely disgusting. read more

Do not use this company! They are scammers and thieves and do not deliver on their satisfaction guarantee. They did an atrocious cleaning job for my end-of-tenancy; dust everywhere, sticky floors, they didn't even move furniture to vacuum underneath. After weeks and weeks of negotiating, they agreed to a partial refund (not even 15%) and then more weeks later only paid part of that. Disgraceful. read more

DO NOT go anywhere near this company. Did not respond to specifics about the itinerary of what they would do. Turned up 2 hours late. On arrival one of the cleaners said he was allergic to cats despite us saying we had pets in the booking process. They then looked around the property,laughing and saying we had a messy property. They then said they wouldnt do the clean at the quoted price and quoted us £450...over double the original quote. I gave heard similar stories of other cleaning companies doing this. BUZZ MAIDS - cleaners you want to avoid at all cost! I have been in the process of moving house in Watford, and as all responsible tenants do, I booked Buzz Maids for an end-of-tenancy cleaning job in Woodmere Avenue, Watford. I made it clear on the phone regarding the size of the house, number of rooms and details of the job, and also gave the option of them coming to see the place before giving a quote. However, they insisted that they are familiar with how complex end of tenancy jobs are for unfurnished houses, and that therefore they were already in a position to provide a quote. I booked them for 12th March, Monday, as I was due to hand over the keys to the landlord the next day. We ensured we cleared the house and shifted to our new house a day before. However, Buzz maids called up last minute to say that they can't come that day (apparently their van was dysfunctional!), and that they would compensate for any payments we are having to pay to the landlord for that additional day. They then came on Tuesday and increased the quote substantially (and I mean SUBSTANTIALLY) at which point I lost it and got another company (Monica maid) to do the job, who I have to say were a dream to work with. I am known to keep my house in top condition and gave a very true picture of the job over phone, and clearly the significantly reduced price on the first occasion was simply to grab the job! I leave this review to ensure none of the readers here have to go through the hassle of having to find new cleaners, and deal with unprofessional people, when you are already juggling with the usual battles of moving a house. read more

I can only advise you not to consider using them because: **they turned up a couple of hours late on both days; **they were so slow that we had to pack around a third ourselves; **they broke a chest of drawers then took a photograph of it to 'prove' that it was already broken; **they refused to finish unloading until I paid the bulk of the bill in cash; **they took several hundred pounds in cash more than they were owed (my husband and I were in the two different houses); ** they were so late it was not possible to carry out the cleaning (which we had paid for) at all; **they lost all the screws to 4 IKEA double wardrobes that they dismantled; **several things do not seem to have made it to our new home (still looking as we finish the last of the unpacking) stereo amp, marble bread slab, who knows what else? This was confirmed twice by email and twice by text the week preceding the clean. On the day nobody showed up. The buzz maid number rang off the 15 plus times I tried to call. Eventually it went to answer phone. I was called back 1 hour after the clean was due to start by Luke who sounded like a sheepish, work-experience millennial but is the "co-founder" apparently. The 2(?) cleaners working for the "company" were not responding but they would be with me in "10 minutes to 1 hour". An hour passes and another call. The cleaners are now on a religious holiday. My flat can't be cleaned. So my house deposit is largely forfeited when moving out due to a late, very abrupt cleaning cancellation after numerous confirmations and then to be strung along all morning so that alternative arrangements can't be made. There are lots of better alternatives. I urge you to shop around for a more reliable cleaner! 200% money back guarantee completely meaningless!
