When I go to this club I usually get there early and make a afternoon of night of it. The bingo is priced up with different deals on certain days of the week. Sometimes there is an all in ticket price. I personally prefer to go on days that aren't all in as I'm not quick enough to do a strip of 6 at the same time. The decor is a little dated, but the atmosphere makes up for that. They have recently put in some wizard machines for people who the machines to do the work. There is party bingo and a fruit machine area.

It has seating for approx 2000 people, as well as an outside area which is like a casino with about 20 machines. It also has a good restaurant. Prices are reasonable but reminds me a little of school canteen cooking and it can have long queues if you go when the break is on.

When I was last in there a couple of months ago it was so emply, i'm surprised it is still a viable concern. This was a lunchtime, perhaps the evenings are better. To view the races you either have to stand outside or watch it on the screen inside. The betting lines were quite short even on a Saturday night. It's not exactly a clean venue, but what can one expect? It's the kind of place that serves drinks in plastic cups and has small children about well into the night! While we had a good evening, I wouldn't make this a regular occurrence. Though if you want to experience Essex life or a different side to English culture, this is an interesting place!
