One of the mirrors on the bedroom closet was completely broken and there were tears in the awning with tape on them. None of that was shown or listed! Hailey attempted to tell me the problem with the floor by using a word that she knew nothing about! I told her that is my exact industry that I have owned a business in for decades! I also had asked her before we drove over if this unit had the winterized insulation package. She replied and said that it did. She is a lying and deceitful fast talking and pathetic salesperson with no professionalism! We knew this unit was used but we were still considering the purchase. My wife asked her if the price could be reduced due to all of these undisclosed problems. She said no. On top of that we were told that we "must" by some insurance from them in order to drive it off the lot! I knew that this was yet another complete lie. I stood up and announced that there would ve no purchase from such a lying and deceitful business! We left. At this point they are still holding out $500 deposit! They have had 5 hours to refund it. I probably wouldn't take something fro free from these Hucksters! Her father, who's name I didn't catch was involved as well. Stay far away! Buyer Beware!

After the dangerous ride home, I called them and they requested that i bring the unit back to them for repairs. That's right, pull a camper with no brakes back to Rochester with no brakes! I had a local mechanic adjust the brakes for me in my driveway. They told me that they operated everything in the unit to make sure all was functional. But the LP tanks were new/empty. I had to pay a local LP supplier to purge and fill the tanks. It was obvious to me that they did not operate most if any of the appliances prior to delivery. We had numerous failures with this unit and had slow service, along with wrong parts ordered. There was an issue with the hot water heater that they never did correct. I did contact the manufacturer (Forest River) and found out the many of my issues were never reported to them, as Universal had told me. At one point they must have gotten rid of their parts person and I was told that the slow service was due to their having to "catch up" from the back log she created. I finally got an email from the manager, he was less that kind or helpful. I traded off the unit for a far superior unit from another dealer. I personally would avoid Universal Marine and Forest River RV, Poor Quality, Poor Customer Service. but Excellent frustration. I waited over a year to write this review because if I would have written this back then, I would most likely have said things that were driven my emotion not plain facts.

Jason came to our rescue after Camping World completely let us down. We had a Dometic fridge seize…read moreup on us on our 2020 grand design RV. I talked to the folks at camping world and dropped it off with them at the beginning of April. After they've had it for a month they still had not done anything but we're continuing to lead me along saying they were going to get parts ordered etc. I pulled our trailer out and called Jason to see if he could help us. Jason immediately set about to help us even though he was quite busy doing other repairs. In a week he had found us a replacement refrigerator and he was able to do that replacement and fix our propane regulator recall within a week. He Saved the day and we were able to go on our camping trip on time. I highly recommend Jason he is very knowledgeable and responsive.

I had my RV roof replaced by RV Repair and Renovation in the spring of 2022. They also repaired a…read moreslide out issue on my camper, and I am very thankful to them for having caught that issue, as I had not noticed what was wrong. Doug and his crew seem very friendly, and given the shortage of technicians that can perform whole roof repairs, I must admit that I was thankful that I found them at all. However, I had, and still have concerns with the job that was done. The repaired slide out makes weird noises, silicone caulking was used on my roof, and I'm concerned that some of it is even separating a bit. The rear backup camera was installed upside down, connected to the wrong circuit, and the antenna was missing. I had asked him about that, but never heard back. There were also nails protruding into the interior of the camper after the job was done, but when I brought that up, they said that they didn't believe it was an issue with their repair. I just got the sense that some details got missed, and I'm spending more of my time than I would have expected doing follow-up fixes.
