The staff at this CAA outlet were really helpful. We're not that familiar with the…read moregreater-Belleville area. They gave us maps and directions to touristy things in the area, like the wine- and beer-tours through Prince Edward County. We had a fun day toutling round the area to celebrate our wedding anniversary, thanks to those maps and directions. Downer: it's in a stand alone building, away from the downtown Belleville core. We usually hit the area just south of the 401, where all the fun and glitz and glamour of Belleville can be found. This CAA outlet is a bit of a drive. We had time on this particular date to drive around, so ok. At least now we know where it is.

It gave us a whole new perspective on where the ingredients came from and made the meal even more meaningful. Every single dish was delicious, and the outdoor patio table setting was absolutely beautiful. I also loved that you can bring your own alcoholic beverages, leave them in the ice bucket, and help yourself throughout the meal. By the end of dinner, I was completely stuffed! Such a unique and wonderful dining experience. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this new bed & breakfast!…read moreSylvia opened her place this spring and by the time we spent the weekend here in August, everything was running very smoothly. We booked the Burdock room, which was cozy and very clean. There was a small fridge for guest use in the hallway that also had water and soda. I really appreciated how many local products were used - there's a tea station with lots of variety and all kinds of local honey, the flowers on the breakfast table were grown in PEC, the fruits and vegetables came from PEC, their neighbour makes the bread. All these little touches made it memorable, and we even sought out some of these producers to bring gifts home. In fact, we wanted to get some of the French tea she was serving and without us having to ask, she called the neighbouring B&B/store that sells it to make sure they were already open as we headed out. The breakfast was very big and very tasty! There was homemade granola (that was honestly better than the one I make...) and oven-baked tomatoes with omelette. There's a table with brochures that included free sample cards to a lot of wineries, take a look before you head out to visit them. The property also includes an outdoor pool that we didn't have time to try. The owners have a dog and a cat so be prepared in case you're allergic. Both beasts were perfectly friendly and fun to pet. We had some trouble finding the place at first, the GPS thought it's further west from the highway on Wilson Road, it's actually between Highway 62 and County Road 1, so if you're going there, be aware. I'd love to stay here again next time we're in Prince Edward County!

It looks like something out of a movie all decked out and decorated for Fall. The innkeepers, Suzette and Rogers were welcoming, warm and very friendly. I can't remember the name of the room I stayed in but I loved it. The mattress was firm just the way I liked it and the bathroom (which I shared with another guest) was spotless. The fluffy robe and the cold water bottles and hot coffee were greatly appreciated and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was more like a brunch than breakfast. I ate my breakfast while chatting with two guests from Germany. The entire experience and stay was most enjoyable and memorable.
