There are some really beautiful and unique fabrics that you just cant find anywhere else. Im absolutely mad about lace fabric and this shop has such a huge selection of gorgeous laces i want to buy everything! And the trimmings are stunning, they have laces encrusted in diamonds, embroidered laces, gems, beads, zips everything. Im telling you if you havent already been to this shop you really need to it will amaze you! The only downside about this place is that it only opens weekends there opening hours are written as; saturday 10.30 - 6.30 & sunday 11.30 - 5.30 Hope this helps some fellow crafters. :)

There are rails and rails of clothes from the 1920s onwards, a men's section on the third floor and oodles of linen, accessories, hats and suitcases. Even old, working sewing machines, buttons and fabulous Vogue patterns from the 1950s. Just when you think you've seen everything, there's another nook or cranny just waiting to be explored. The only heartbreaking thing is that in many cases, the sizes are just too small for most people today. A consequence of changing body shapes, I suppose. But if you are a size 16, then prepare for a long rummage to find something your size. I know, I've been there. But if you look like Christina Hendricks, there's every chance you could leave looking like an extra from Mad Men or like you've walked from the pages of The Best of Everything. Now, the only thing is to find Don Draper.....
