CJ and Peyton got back to me in 10 minutes, were on-site within the hour, correctly diagnosed the problem (incorrectly installed float in the effluent tank), and had it expertly resolved in time for dinner. $175 to fix it right, vs. the roughly $1,500 my old provider wanted for work I didn't actually need. They were very clear about what I needed now vs. what they recommended I do at some point in the future - no high-pressure sales tactics here. They wrote it up well enough that I could have anyone do the future work if I wanted (but why would I go to anyone else?), and they didn't even charge me an emergency fee! Suffice it to say, Avalanche has a new loyal customer.

Turns out, my pump was under warranty, and they replaced it for me on the spot. They could have charged me for a pumping too, as I wasn't sure when the last cleanout was. They knew it was a year ago, and said I shouldn't clean it out now. They didn't try to upsell me or take advantage of me. They were knowledgeable and eager to explain the workings of our septic system. As a new homeowner, that was good for me to learn. I will definitely call them anytime I need a clean out or repair.

He and his helper were able to get out work done in a far more practical manner, and with added features for safety than what we originally requested. Great work. Not only do they provide excellent professional service - they come into your home and the first thing they do is put on a pair of Yuley shoe covers each and every time they walk in and out of the door to their truck. Can't tell you how many contractors have tracked dirt and mud through the house over the years. Not these guys. If there is dirt from any of the work inside .... they have their own vacuum they bring in and clean up! Amazing ....
