Upon my first discovering these apartments I immediately fell in love with them. While they are tucked away on a quiet serene hill they are conveniently located (about 2 miles) away from the Clearview Mall and Giant Eagle. The fact that they are ranch style apartments was also appealing since I would not have to deal with any neighbors above me or have to go up and down any steps. The pricing was also very low considering these perks, and ridiculously low compared to some higher end apartments located south of Butler. So I signed the lease and took a 1 bedroom. During the almost 4 years I stayed there I can't say that I had any major problems. The only issue came when I had a broken fridge and maintenance replaced it right away. Unfortunately the replacement broke, but that was also replaced right away. Maintenance always responded quickly and, in one case, even took initiative to organize my bottom cabinets for me. The staff, particularly Elise, were always a pleasure to deal with. They were always on top to remind me about upcoming deadlines regarding lease renewals in case I'd forget. I did have an issue with my neighbor, who banged on the walls and made a lot of noise, and did inform management about it. However, since I was pretty satisfied overall, I did not pursue it aggressively and don't at all fault management. Thing is, although my apartment was small (I was paying $535 a month!), the place had been very well kept and maintained, and as a result, I felt very at home in my quaint and comfortable pad. Even my folks, who visited me on occasion, and my friend, who visited me one time, noted how nice and quaint it was. During my leave upon getting a job out of state, the staff were very nice and supportive. I do still need to move my stuff out, and need to receive my security deposit, which will be based on how well I clean and vacate the premises. However, up to this point, I must say that my overall experience here has been excellent and probably the best out of any apartment I've previously lived in.

Stay away! Rent is high and the quality is extremely low. They claim there is a gym, it's a…read moretreadmill in a closet and I have yet to find the "laundry facilities". There is not separate water meters for the entire row so they divide up the bill, which is fine unless someone uses an extreme amount of water. They hardly ever plow in the winter and I have yet to see them salt the road. On top of that if you ever need maintenance done forget about it. Our dish washer broke two weeks after we moved in, still waiting to see if it will ever get fixed. Hot water tanks are 20 yrs old so you get about 5 min of hot water. All the pipes are run on exterior walls so they freeze.( doesn't meet building codes) Bad place to rent from, most people don't stay more than a year. They had a sign up by the office saying $250 referral for referring a friend. So we did, and we never saw a cent! One last thing, you can't pay your rent with cash!!!

She will harass you and attack you if she decides that she doesn't like you. I was hurt because of their negligence in the winter time and she had the audacity to say it was my fault that their property isn't being taken care of. People deserve better! When you live here, you're not even treated like a human being. She's only 34 and acts like she's so much better than everyone who resides here. She makes up false reports, calls cys on you if there's dishes in your sink and threatens you with the police for disagreeing with her. She will break your lease a thousand times and then throw it at you or say it was your fault that it happened. I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. Not while the same psycho is managing it.

A little bit of a drive from down town but this is a great place for low income families. There's two playgrounds and they're great for children of all ages and superbly taken care of. The bus stops at the entrance, which is convenient for anyone without a car. The apartments are decently sized and unlike other apartment buildings, you can't hear your neighbors through the walls. Would like to compliment Sheree for her kindness during the estimate, where she told me a "CREW" would be doing the work, and Alyssa, who came alone, sans crew, on finally getting a hard job done and working extra to do it. Was definitely more than a one person job, which Tammy, the operations manager, told me when she saw the job. And she worked along side of Alyssa to get the work done in a timely manner. And it was HARD work for them. Poor equipment for a nicotine removal. Poor tools for employees to use to reach high places and ceilings. Had to suggest proper cleaner that worked on the nicotine far better than bleach. High charge for using a credit card. Ridiculous, actually. ($11.38). Professionalism in office was terrible and I was treated horribly by Leanna. No one gave me access to the owner, who I would be more than HAPPY to discuss the whole issue. Lies were told and proven. I can only assume that since we were not able to be on site for the cleaning, they assumed they did not have to actually clean the house. They charged over $500 which was more than what was quoted. They did not vacuum or mop any floors. The toilets were dirty with stains as the house has sat for a period of time prior to the cleaning. This service was a complete rip off and did not pass inspection from the rental company. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all cost. They are a complete rip off and scam.
