I am driving a vintage S10 pickup that belonged to my Mom. It has almost 200K miles on a 4 cylinder. It's been rode hard and put away wet, but still runs and drives well. I had some issues with it (all body related) and my boys Julian and Nick took great care of me and my little red truck. They analyzed the issues and made repair recommendations, and came up with a quote that I could afford. They did three of the four repairs, in less than a day, at about 1/2 the quote price, and referred me to a body shop for the fourth repair, because that kind of work is not in their wheelhouse. I am so grateful for the guys at Butitta Auto in Oregon, Illinois. Following a previous visit, I happened to call the shop after they'd closed for the day. I didn't leave a message, but apparently my caller ID showed up. Julian was still in the shop and noticed the "missed call," and he called me back, just to make sure I was okay, and not experiencing another problem with my truck. That really touched my heart! I'm a disabled veteran, and vehicle reliability is key to my peace of mind and safety, when I'm out and about. They're honest, caring, trustworthy, and always put the customer's needs first, while ensuring the safety and reliability of the vehicle, to keep us safe. Just sharing facts without emotion. First time I went there, manager was grumbling about a customer with multiple complaints. Sympathized with the manager. My mistake. Since then, we have spent close to $2000 in a one year span. So, today I stopped in hoping that he might make time to look at a cover that had fallen from my motor. Not a sole waiting for a vehicle...and just received a flat no, can't fit it in. Called Prescott Ford in Rochelle and they said sure, bring it it. It literally took no more than 5 minutes. That's how you get repeat customers. I will not be giving the Butitta Brothers any more of my family's business. read more
