Mariola's Family Child Day Care

Mariola's Family Child Day Care

This is a RAVING review for Mariola's Family Daycare and I can not recommend it enough! Mariola has…read morea beautiful balance of structure - to help the kids learn and grow- and fun. They are always doing new fun games and activities and special things to celebrate holidays. (My heart melts at the Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts!) Its a great number of kids, with plenty of active time outside, healthy food and snacks, and the truest form of love and guidance from Mariola. Our daughter has blossomed since the time she started at Mariola's. We are leaving only to align with our son's preschool schedule, and I am very sad and conflicted about the decision because of how much we love (and our daughter loves) Mariola! To any family considering this daycare - it has been one of the best decisions for our family. And, it has been incredible to know that our daughter has a safe and fun place she loves to go to during the day. If I can't be with my daughter during the day, I am so glad to know she is in great hands with Mariola.

Mariola provides breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks each day. All the foods are organic and cooked daily. Her place is clean, well organized and structured with educational activities, had plenty of space for the kids to roam outside and play. All the children love her. We are so thankful we found Mariola's Family Child Day Care. I would recommend Mariola's daycare highly.

Just updating my review after almost 1.5 years at AOP. We are obsessed with this place. Our toddler…read moreis engaged and learning so much here! Just a few things she definitely didn't learn from us: -"agua," "buh bye," "night night" -"all done" with sign language too -the sign for "milk" She also gets so much exercise and outdoor time on the play area and has learned how to climb up and push herself down the slide. We love that the app keeps us updated with photos and other events throughout the day (all food, diapers, naps). The staff also keep us updated if there are any sicknesses going around or if the group is going through anything challenging (like the biting phase!) and what they are doing to address it. Now that our baby is eating solids we love the convenience of all of her meals and milk being provided (included in the cost!). The meals are well-rounded and it's so cute that they all eat together at a table! I think it encourages my baby to eat more when she sees her friends doing so. We also love that they keep the cohort together and how the teachers move along with the kids from room to room as they grow. I am not sure if this will continue into preschool, but just having Miss Mariela from the infant to toddler phase has been a true blessing for us. I can't tell you how many times I have showed my mom friends the app or told them about the things AOP offers and they say "wow my daycare doesn't do all that!" It takes a village to raise kids these days. The first part is finding that village, and the second is finding one to love your baby like family. We have found that in AOP. They truly care about your child like their own

Every day our kid is so excited to go to daycare that she's literally banging on our front door to get out when we tell her it's time to "go to school" haha. If you're looking for a daycare that fosters learning, language development, kindness and growth, this is the place for you. We cannot say enough positive things about AOP!

Words can not even begin to express how happy we have been with BunnyBear. Our first born has been…read moregoing there since she turned 12 months old, and we have witnessed her THRIVE. The staff there is so caring and thoughtful when we drop her off in the morning we know she is loved and well taken care of there. They are so easy to communicate with and so incredibly helpful. For months we tried at home to have her wear shoes and she would absolutely refuse, after her teachers trying for a few days straight they DID IT. She now LOVES shoes and its such a relief. I would recommend BunnyBears to everyone looking for a daycare in La Mesa. They are the best.

An in home nanny would have been lovely but you really can't beat Bunny Bear's offerings that I don't have at home. The layout with the separate nap room with rocking chair, sound machines, and black out curtains is the best environment out of all the other daycares that I toured. I love that the babies are split up between immobile and mobile sides and that my girl is with babies closer in age. It shows that the caregivers are really experts in not only childcare but also care for young infants. The amazing AC gives me a ton of piece of mind because I always worry about my girl overheating at home with our old AC unit during these heatwaves. And many in home caycares I toured didn't have as reliable of air conditioners as the commercial AC at BunnyBears. I love their outdoor space and I have really enjoyed the get togethers that they have hosted on weekends so I could get to know the other parents more! My girl has shown marked developmental improvement since starting her here and I'm excited she gets the opportunity to interact with other caregivers, baby friends, new toys, and fun activities we don't have at home. Communication has been amazing, Katie is so quick to reply and I'm impressed how involved she is everyday time I drop off and pick up. The teachers are so friendly and they are picking up on tendencies my girl has and offering them as things I might look out for. As a first time mom, that is the kind of back up I need! I wish I could clone myself, work fulltime and care for my little one fulltime. I can't. And BunnyBears made my transition back to work so much easier and less stressful knowing my girl is safe, happy, learning, and exploring her little world, with her little friends, and under the care of loving and thoughtful teachers. Thank you, thank you!

I really wish there were more people in the world like them!! They were so nice, patient, and calm and that passed down to the kids. All the children at the daycare were so pleasant with one another and played well together while developing their learning and social skills. Most of us parents would stand around waiting for our kids to be ready to leave because they were having such a good time there. Trusting your daycare provider is really the best thing you can ask for. Thank you for everything!

When we found Jeanet it took us five minutes of discussion after the tour to walk right back in and reserve our spot. Jeanet and her family were warm and welcoming while professional and immensely knowledgeable. My husband and I felt, and continue to feel, completely comfortable and at ease in all of our interactions. It is also evident that our daughter is THRIVING since this transition and it is such a profound relief to feel so secure and confident in the care she is receiving so we can be present while at work. Super Special Bonus Features: *The children's space is so well arranged, clean, and visually appealing. I appreciate the attention to detail and ultimately feel Jeanet operates on my wavelength. The outdoor space is absolutely ideal and I love the varied options of activities for children to pursue. * Jeanet uses an app called LearningGenie which alleviates so many communication gaps I've run into in other settings. I can easily check diapering, meals, and nap times while also accessing candid photos of my child's day. Makes planning for smooth evenings much easier and highlights potential issues (like a lack of poop) that otherwise get lost in the shuffle. * Jeanet and her husband are very open to feedback and suggestion. We are really hoping to find community and long term child care; our ideas to cultivate this as PLG expands were met with enthusiasm * Dietary considerations have been easily accommodated . * There was a Mother's Day tea and gifts for the moms, as well as adorable and sweet art projects on Father's Day. So thoughtful. * Open door policy that is actually open. * Inclusion! After attending my daughter's birthday we were invited to Jeanet's daughter's birthday where I was able to meet much of the extended family. It was really nice, in so many ways. We feel very blessed to have found Play Learn Grow! I hope anyone who read this far also finds child care that they feel GREAT about! Modern parenthood is tough, but the right team makes it easier.
