Great and unique way to experience London. We saw several land marks. Do keep in mind those with motion sickness might feel queasy eating and drinking while sloshing around. The price was fair starting at £60

What a great time we had. Our host Jr and Ivvy were great. Jr was funny and kept the trip enjoyable. Ivvy was very attentive. He suggested and worked with the chef to ensure my daughter had substitute for the menu that was served. Either we didn't pay attention to what was going to be served before booking or the menu changed. Either way, she was able to get slightly different entrees, due to allergies and other needs. It would have been nice to have a voice commentator to explain what we were driving past or looking at. Also, some of the sites were more visible if you were sitting on the other side of the bus. I'm not sure if it would have cost more, but we would have paid for a better view to take pics. It was still worth the 2 hr tour.

This was the one photo we took otherwise we left our phones down to fully immerse into this experience

Friday, February 2nd, 2024 party of 3pp for 7:15pm dinner (our last night in London and last day to conclude 2-weeks across Europe) £120: Menu with water and a hot drink £150: Menu with wine pairing, including: 1 glass of Champagne, 2 glasses of wine, mineral water (still or sparkling), coffee or tea We were in Amsterdam and met up with two Brit's who we told we'd be in London for 2 days/2 nights and what our plans were. They recommended this glass bus fine dining tour so we booked our dinner shortly after speaking with them. The location was easy to find, the coach bus pulled up and seated us immediately. We sat at the top and began our 6 course dinner. We got two dinners without champagne/wine and one dinner with champagne/wine. We had been to Italy for 8 days and Amsterdam for 5 days prior to this so the one who got the champagne/wine dinner said there was no comparison in wine between London to Italy because he was truly spoiled rotten in Italy with the wine but he was for sure having champagne/wine with his dinner regardless. We throughly enjoyed our entire experience, every table was booked, the food kept flowing and everyone was having a great time. Even a birthday was being celebrated and we all sang happy birthday to her including singing songs together as a group. There was no way we would have covered so much ground by foot compared to this glass bus tour and with the added bonus of fine dining. We were wondering how our table wouldn't tumble over while in motion but they had magnetic mats and custom glassware holder so everything was perfect. 6-course dinner for adult through April 30th, 2024 -Tuna Tartare -Roasted Aubergine Salad -Pan Seared Salmon with potatoes -Rack of Lamb with sweet potatoes -Brie cheese with apple and pear chutney and brioche -Classic Pannacotta with mango sauce and homemade crumble We recommend this tour to any and all local and visitors to London, great for sightseeing, perfect for dinner, brilliant for any celebratory occasion, and the greatest treat to oneself to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Bravo to the chef and crew, staff and management for a flawless experience. The only suggestion was to add a drink/soda with the £120 6-course dinner besides water and hot drink. We never did get that hot drink unless we declined it and forgot.

We had done this experience in Paris but it was waaaaay better in London due to the chef being very attentive to my vegan and gf needs. The guys had the regular tasting menu and the chef created a wonderful menu for me. Each dish was crafted beautifully and tasted great. We were full by the end. We all had mocktails but found them very sweet. The tour was nice but I wish they would announce as we approach each site so we are not randomly looking around for the landmark. It's sometimes hard to look for the landmark when listening to the menu description and eating. Thanks

This was so fun. We saw all the London sites at night while eating a fantastic meal. Great service, amazing food, wine, and beautiful scenery, don't miss out on this!!

We easily booked on line a couple months in advance of our trip to Stonehenge, Bath and a Secret Place. I had a few questions, which were answered quickly through email. Instructions and itinerary were provided after we bought we tickets. Additional and helpful information was sent a few day prior to our trip. Noelh, our tour guide, was knowledgable, interesting and fun from the moment he picked us up in London. He provided information beyond the tour stops. He was engaging and had a good understanding of the geology of Stonehenge as well as the historical background. He made well time stops for breaks. We spent about two hours at Stonehenge, two hours at Bath and an hour at the Secret Place. The Secret Place was worth the extra and I highly recommend. Noelh offered a brief and interesting walking tour at each site and left us time to explore on our own. We were allowed to bring snacks on the bus but we didn't need them because we stopped plenty at places for food and drink. Noelh provided water. Bring water and rain gear. There were UBC ports for phone charging on the bus. The bus was very comfortable. Noelh was sensitive to a woman that was having mobility issues and arranged for her to skip part of the walking tour. I enjoyed Stonehenge and the Secret Place immensely, I was glad I saw Bath, but it was too crowded during our visit. Others on the tour really loved Bath. I highly recommend The English Bus tours.

Tip: I recommend showing up at a bus tour stop to purchase your pass (ticket). I bought a two-day…read morepass and got a third day for free. That deal currently doesn't exist on the Big Bus Tours site. I find it helpful doing a bus tour in a city that you are visiting for the first time. I've done such tours in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and London. Of course, it's also fun to take a tour when you've been in a city before. New York comes to mind. Anyway, I decided to get a ticket from Big Bus Tours when I was doing touristy things in Piccadilly Circus. I am normally a planner (I got a city pass to various tourist attractions), but for tours, I show up at the stop. There's a reason why I do it. You can often get a deal. I ended up getting a three-day pass, but I only paid for two days. It was nice to get an extra day for free. There were three different routes that this bus company offers. I did all three, which was great. You get a pair of headphones and you listen to the audio detailing what you are seeing. It's informative and fun. You can choose the language that you want. You hop on a double-decker bus that allows you to hop off to visit a touristy site (Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Big Ben, etc.) and hop back on when you're done. Naturally, if you want to stay for the full tour, it's cool, too. Top floor is best for taking photos, which I did. It was December when I was in London. I recommend wearing a hat, a warm coat, and gloves to keep warm. It can get a bit windy, but I was fine. It did rain on my last day, so I sat inside. Taking photos was fine, but you deal with the window in front of you and potential glare. It was comfortable and a great learning experience as a tourist. I recommend it if you have a chance while in London. (45)

It's good if you don't have a lot of time in London to see the sights.

I would also like to give a shout-out to Radu (the driver) - yes, he was an excellent driver, but he was also the perfect foil for Joe's boisterous and entertaining persona, and he really cared about the customers - he was polite, professional and very thoughtful, for example lingering a bit longer at a particular attraction to let a member of the tour get their pictures just right. I was very pleased with Goldent Tours as well - ease of booking, prices and plethora of choices. All in all - I would use them again and highly recommend them.

We read the reviews and understood we were going to need some patience. The problem with many reviews were the meeting instructions (via TripAdvisor) so we went to the Baker Street location a day early to scout it out. We could not find signage for Golden Tours. We did see a Harry Potter bus dropping off a group and assumed (wrongly) that the spot was also the meeting spot. Actually they do have a location (store front) near the Baker street stop. It is not on Baler Street. If you come out of the tube and turn away from the wax museum, you will find their store from down the next block. That is the meeting spot point for tours! Very important thing to know and find -- because you have to meet there to get your tickets beforehand. We missed our bus time despite arriving 45 minutes early. The staff was less than kind about this part of the trip and made no apologies for the lack of directions. They gave us headphones but there was no movie on our bus. We had set our expectations low for our son, due to the reviews so we didn't mind -- but there were some disappointed families near us. The bus was clean enough but no WiFi and the phone charges didn't work on most seats. The driver for this portion of our trip was great and very helpful given that he had to help us find someone on site to get our Entry tickets. Despite the set backs, we finally had tickets in hand and enjoyed the studio tour from here on out on our own. The trip back was easy enough but this bus driver was less friendly and at one point was screaming at another driver along a busy street in London. We actually found it comical and thought it added to the busy city feel, but I could see how many guests would find this very unsettling. All in all, it is OK if this is the way you can get entry tickets to something on your must see list, but if you have options - I'd try another company.

We waited at bus stops for what felt like 15 minutes. And saw 2-3 other buses from Toot and Top View come by during the time we were waiting. Maybe we should pick another bus company next time. The stops promised a historical landmark or palace etc. Some of the stops didn't even take you to the proposed destination. For example, I wanted to see Kensington Palace. We drove past the stop for Kensington palace, but didn't get to see it. Same with a couple other spots. You don't actually drive by it. You'd have to get off the bus and walk for days to get there. This can be troublesome in the rain. Speaking of the rain, let's talk about that. It rains a lot in London. So, you'd think that the Big Bus tours would have an overhead coverage for the entire top deck. Wouldn't that make sense? Only the first couple rows are covered. And the audio doesn't work on all of the seats at the top. Probably because the rain ruined the mechanics. The audio on the tour was terrible. It would announce a location after we already passed it. So, you wouldn't even know what to look for or when. Super annoying. You literally had to track along the route on the app, listen to the audio and try to figure out what to take photos of. Oh and then figure out which stops you need to get off and walk to. It's just too much. The bus is supposed to be relaxing and easy to see the sights. This wasn't it.

We bought our tickets about 3 days in advance, showed up on time and waited about 20 minutes after our time was supposed to start. When the bus finally showed up, they told us that they were running behind, so we weren't on the list. "Luckily," they were able to squeeze us in, or I think we would have had to wait another whole hour. They don't have any sort of queue system, so everyone just waits on the sidewalk and then rushes the bus when it arrives with no organization whatsoever. I believe tickets were about $60 USD, which seemed like a lot to me, so I figured it must be great. I wish I would've read more reviews beforehand because it's just super corny, and you can't see anything they are pointing out if you're seated on the from the lower part of the bus. Eventually, they have you close the window shades and participate in a mock séance. Our host was good, I suppose, but, again, just really corny. We learned about not only the sites we were set to see but also about the buildings, statues and areas that we passed along the way. We started our day at Hampton Court. David provided us with tips on how to make the most of our time there. We were able to explore on our own and then he picked us up for our lunch break. David had reservations already made for us at a cute restaurant on the river. We ate inside the restaurant and David stayed outside and was ready to go when we were done. The food and service there was excellent. We then continued to Windsor Castle. We were able to take all the time we wanted touring the castle and then shopped around the town afterwards.
