He immediately waved us in and started telling us about products that we were looking at. We were immediately attracted to the cute alpaca stuffed animals! Claudius was SO amazing as he took us around to show us all of the different unique colors of the stuffed animals, and even went as far to brush them out to show us how fluffy they could be! I will spare you the other wonderful details of our time there, as I HIGHLY encourage you to check it out and experience the delights of this store yourself. There were hats, magnets, shot glasses, clothing items, guitar picks, reusable bags, ornaments, key chains, a lot of stuff. There was plenty of registers open so there was little or no wait to check out. The employees were all very friendly. The prices were pretty reasonable, we learned that the "Shirt Company" stores had some great deals, like hats for $4.99. My son was able to get everything he wanted to collect and I was able to get some items for myself and others.

Juneau is generally sort of cheesy and sprawling and uninviting, and what they do have left of a…read moregold rush heritage they've mostly denigrated with touristy jewelry stores and bad renovations. But, as often happens when you only have eyes for the worst of places, authentic little gems pop up to remind you that the world is pretty good indeed. Rag Doll hides in the back of a hideous multi-unit commercial shack, but it asserts itself with faux-finished walls in light colors, trendy hanging bars full of their own in-house designs, and funky accessories. It's owned and run by two local young women (emphasis on the young) who do really great unique screenprinted designs on soft, wearable American Apparel shirts, skirts, sweats and dresses. The designs are whimsical; a dandelion blowing petals across the shirt, or a jellyfish hiding on a hem. They also carry wallets and accessories by Espe, a Canadian brand, and locally-made jewelry. The store shows a discerning eye for style with a distinct local identity; it's a little oasis of fashion in the most gauche of surroundings.

And if they did it would be discoverable on the itinerary. Keri and crew were incredible in making a very difficult window happen . As we left the ship, Keri arrived with a beautiful gift basket and a very colorful sign with her name. With thousands of people around she was the special lady being showered with attention! Yes, her tears outpaced the rain. It wasn't easy but got it back on ship so we could go on our excursion. A large variety of local Juneau products. Keri ran all over town to make it incredible. I was able to choose what I wanted, but I allowed Keri to add her touch to it as I had never been to Alaska. This is in a rare group of memories we shared over the last 25 years. I have continued to order fun stuff from there. I love doing business with excellent people. By the way, the items are top quality. I had never heard of FOXERS. Very fine products. For anybody reading this, I encourage you to buy from this company. I live in Denver, and this place is as good as any store here with some items I have never seen locally.
