I'm a guy, and it's totally strange that I'm reviewing Bustin' Out. That aside, these ladies rock.
My wife LOVES this place, and by extension, I do too. Firstly, local ladies have stepped out to serve the community and I think that's awesome. I'm all about supporting new shops, and while I'm a guy, I get lots of benefit to having them in the Juneau marketplace.
Let's recount a few of ways this shop has made a difference for us (PROS):
- My wife has back issues and finding the right fit makes a world of difference to how she feels. It can even have an impact on her parenting as less back pain equates to a higher willingness to simply pick up or play with our toddler.
- I'd say her confidence, has increased since she has been slowly working towards an update of her wardrobe. Her personality is very much the "hey, as long as there aren't too many holes, we're good!" Breaking out and finding bras and clothing that she *feels good in*, it's been a win that I hadn't predicted, but am supremely thankful for.
- Bustin' Out has gift certificates, which makes for simple, yet impactful gifts that constantly remind the recipient of how awesome the gift giver is (Note: this is a major win, Guys.)
- Having more intimate apparel for my wife to wear around the house is never a bad thing.
- I'm glad to be getting rid of the clothing items that are so threadbare that they barely do their job any longer.
CONS:
- I'm supposed to be a little more mindful when it comes to laundry... Not a huge burden, but if I don't pull the bras out to air-dry, it means we'll have to replace them more often.
- Budgetarily speaking, It's an investment if updating an entire wardrobe... That said, it's worth it to us to have proper fitted items to improve back troubles and to increase her confidence. read more
