Dan's inspection was very thorough taking him into some precarious spots including our very high roof, both attics, in the fireplace, behind appliances, and pretty much everywhere else in the home. His detailed report was full of pictures identifying all marginal and defective problems that could be identified in a visual inspection. He also told us which of those problems we realistically needed to watch out for based on his past experiences remodeling homes. There were a couple issues that he didn't find, but I only found them after months living in my home. So it isn't realistic for him to find all problems that can only be identified by living in the house. That said we used his detailed inspection to negotiate a closing credit, which covered the repair costs of all the identified issues and the couple unidentified issues. His costs were fair, while other inspectors had no availability, were in their early 20s, and charged double without even being willing to go on our roof. I choose him after interviewing 6-7 other inspectors and was very glad with my decision. I highly recommend Right Home Inspections.
