They wouldn't accept the return, which is their right I guess, but this item broke without ANY provocation and they wouldn't stop insinuating that I must have dropped it like an idiot. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever encountered. I came in just looking for a battery for my cartridge and the dude brings me one for $50. I told him no I just want something simple and he leaves and comes back with one that's $35. He rings me up without showing me it and is practically demanding I spend $35... I end up calling him out bc I'm not stupid and the one I'm looking for goes for maybe $15 tops, then he decides to show me all my options and is visibly annoyed that I know what I'm talking about. I came to this shop to look for hoses, and I noticed, after searching through their inventory, that the higher end hoses on display were not any different in quality than their less expensive hoses. After being disappointed in not being able to find a good hose, I settled on a basic one. I kept looking around the store to possibly find something worth my efforts of having come into this shop, and at last, I found a hot plate. Thinking this would be a great alternative to heating my coal on the stove for shisha sessions, I picked it up, and proceeded to the register. When I got home, I realized this hotplate cannot be used in America without a converter, because it has a European outlet. Needless to say, I was livid. This should have been communicated to me by the salesperson who sold me the merchandise... or at best, it shouldve been explained on the packaging. After having spent nearly $50, I now have to find a converter to use the hot plate. Avoid this store. One star is because the store was pleasant looking. Update: After this review, I was contacted by the stores owner who gave me the converter for the hot plate I was sold. I had to update this review because my grievance was corrected professionally and quickly. read more

I checked the codes on these when I got home and they turned out to be fake. I brought it back to the store for a refund and they then told me there's a no refund policy which is not stated anywhere in the store or on the receipt. I rarely write a Yelp review unless something is really deserving. This is the best smoke shop for miles. They have a separate walk-in humidor for cigars, which is why I go. Walked in from seeing all the new and 5 star reviews. I will say it was clean and clearly a new shop. Employees were very helpful and unfortunately I made the mistake of trusting reviews and their establishment. Silly me. They kept offering free products with a small mint tobacco and charcoal. I should've taken that as a hint they were already making profit and trying to persuade consumer loyalty. I purchased the KhanJar Surrender pink for "$80" as priced with their "complimentary" additives. Got home and was curious of the actual price of the hookah. Find out it sells on a regular from Amazon and other retailers for only $20. Granted, my mistake I should've just stuck with my gut feeling rather than trusting reviews or even employees. But god damn, $20 to $80 dollars? That's a $60 profit on top of the retail price purchased I'm sure. My advice is for others to compare prices online prior to completing the purchase and not make the impulse purchase I made. read more
