I told the guy that he made a mistake and he corrected me - so I showed him the box with the price clearly stated and he still said I was wrong. Told him I was a regular and that I've always paid that price as well. I was still wrong. If you want to charge more that's up to you, but you have to put a new price on the product. Because if you put a price on something, people will expect to pay that and if you pluck another figure out of thin air (without telling them and just short changing them) then it looks like your swindling people. And well, customers don't usually like being swindled. There are friendlier and much nicer places nearby, so will use them instead from now on.

My boyfriend is a brewer and checks dates on everything before he buys it. Some of the beers were over a year old. Yikes! We asked for some help with choosing a local beer and the guy working there knew nothing about beer and said said he had no idea. How are you going to work at a bottle shop with no beer knowledge? The prices were absolutely outrageous. We're used to spending money on sought after beers but they jacked the prices up so far that we just ended up leaving with nothing.

It's right up there with Beer Boutique, just more central, expanded selection and easier to shop. The owners are really nice and the place is super clean, not that that means anything just making note. If you're buying a fancy 4 can of hard to find out GRIMMs expect to pay the $5.99*4. It's just price of nice beer, kinda like wine. In my opinion the name should really have craft beer not smoke shop, since more people are drinking than vaping these days.

They charge an additional 3.95% "convenience fee" on all store sales. Uh, what? There's a very…read moreeasy-to-miss piece of paper on the checkout counter stating this, and the guy had a placemat covering the relevant part, so it wasn't visible when I was checking out. When I asked about the fee on my receipt, he kept pointing to a note that said you get a "discount" if you pay in cash. I kept saying that I wasn't asking about a discount but about the fee on my receipt. After a few of those back-and-forths, he finally uncovered the note stating the fee and rolled his eyes. Seriously? Who is deserving of an eye roll here? A customer surprised to be paying a random additional dollar amount on top of a store's already ridiculously inflated prices ($3 more for a six-pack of hard seltzer here than at other stores in the neighborhood, for instance), or some dude trying to swindle people out of money? Also, I looked into this further, and their approach appears to be illegal. For instance: '[A New York Court of Appeals decision] ruled merchants should be allowed to charge you more if you pay with a credit card but only with exceptions. - You must be told upfront with a posted credit card price and a posted cash price for every single item. - A flat percentage surcharge is not allowed. "You must list both your cash price and your credit price in dollars and cents conspicuously," said Attorney David Sieling with Brenna Boyce P.L.L.C.'

Worth traveling from the Bronx to get an authentic product from knowledgable staff. The owner is…read morevery friendly too I was instantly greeted and acknowledged when I arrived. I noticed they were painting so I inquired and they told me they would be providing coffee and tea to the community. So I will start this review by sharing my experience with the coffee first and we can talk about the glass after. These guys are all about nourishing the community. They care about the people who live around them and it shows. the ingredients they used in the coffee were of the highest caliber and it was delicious! My girlfriend had the tea, I don't drink much tea but she was very impressed and said that they were carrying "rishi" Which I'm assuming is holy grail tea because she couldn't stop raving about it! When it came to the glass the approach was very similar, only focusing on the highest caliber products. Good American tempered glass. truthfully I didn't know much about glass when I came in I was just looking for a healthier alternative for smoking. Being in Sunflower made me feel like I was getting a first-class education, I learned a lot and left feeling like the money I spent was worthwhile. I brought a full set up and was walked through it by the coffee guy, Nick. He's really funny too, I felt the same feeling I had when I brought my first car! I got a beautiful glass pipe with a Grav add on, its made with glycerine inside so it can be chilled in the freezer to give a smoother pull. I also brought a Mag Blunt, guys seriously THIS IS THE FUTURE at 40 bucks I highly recommend it. you never need to buy paper again, but even if you still wanted to you might as well get it here because they sell the REAL AUTHENTIC RAW papers and products even Tees. You always know the raw product is authentic when they carry it in every form, said a gentleman who was in the store buying paper at the time I was shopping. I also brought a tray that had a beautiful design, and it got better because when I got home and took off the magnetic lid and under it had papers, hemp wick, stickers and all types of other little goodies( I was just winning all day) I recommend anybody from any borough to stop by this place! It's worth the travel. Anybody can give you service but hospitality is how you feel at the end of the service and I feel great. Thank you Sunflower.
