I can only wonder how much longer it would have taken had I not asked what was going on. Told it was a bank wide system issue and they could not help us [after exactly 53 minutes there]. From 1:14 pm to 2:07 pm. Manager came and said she tried but systems were down. I asked her why not call corporate office for them to help confirm the transaction given we were there for 1 hour and she said all systems were down and they could not help either. I left my number and asked to be called when system came back up and we would return. It's 7:11pm and no call and of course they are closed. I left and called the BMO HIghland park location 25 minutes away and their system was perfect absolutely no bank company wide issue whatsoever. Went over and opened a large CD within 25 minutes [lady knew what she was doing] and returning again to open a much larger CD for my parent. As a Corp Executive my time is precious like every other person working full time and with kids and today i wasted 1 hour of my time on nothing. Northbrook team... you left alot to be desired......

This branch was very different. They have 12 bankers who are also notaries, and half can do medallion guarantees. They saw us immediately; the banker was extremely nice and helped us get everything we needed done. A nod to the banker - David. If you are a Chase Banking customer, this is where I recommend you go. If you need a banker, and not simply a teller, I found this branch to be the best of all that I have seen.

Very personal, caring, and fast. This place is the opposite. Any time I want to do something online it's an ordeal. When you make an online credit card payment it takes a week for it to be processed, even though it's been withdrawn from your paying account immediately. Most of the customer service reps I have dealt with have been cold and brittle, acting like they have some kind of power over you. Today for the first time I spoke to a nice, caring customer service rep, who explained to me that the credit union has a policy of not crediting payments for 4 or 5 days, and that there have been a lot of complaints about it. They have some competitive rates and products which is why I gave them 2 stars rather than 1.

Very disappointing experience with this bank except for the local staff who are great with day-to-day needs. I recommend that the main bank officers render the service and attention to customers with higher end needs as well as the bank employees do with basic needs.
