I've only been going for about a week for lower back pain (2 sessions so far), and he did a great job explaining the basics of acupuncture, how it works, and was very honest about the healing process. He doesn't push to sell products like herbs and special drinks. After the first session I wasn't quite sure if I actually felt better, but after the second treatment, I could definitely tell my back was looser and the pain from getting in and out of a sedan, for example, went away. He recommended different stretching exercises as well, so I'm going to try that for a few days and then go back to him as needed. As for scheduling, he is very responsive and the communication is personalized (not just stock responses). It's also easy to schedule an appointment, and the out of pocket cost is extremely reasonable. He has helped me avoid back surgery, and been able to provide almost instant relief when I've hurt myself (minor car accident, minor motorcycle accident, surgery recovery, etc.).
