My wife's sciatic pain flared up during a long drive to Dallas to the point she couldn't even sit down. When we got back to the Houston area, we called Anew right away and saw Dr. G as soon as possible. After the very first visit, her pain was almost completely gone. By the second visit, she was walking comfortably with zero pain. It was amazing to see how quickly she recovered under his care -- he really knows what he's doing and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Pros: The location is convenient and easy to find, pricing is very fair (especially for the quality of care you get), and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I also love that Dr. G focuses on organic and natural methods -- it feels like he's healing the root cause, not just masking symptoms. Plus, the wait time is minimal, which is rare these days! Cons: Because Dr. G is so good, appointments can fill up fast, so it might take some effort to find a regular time that fits your schedule. That said , it is located in an office that apparently operates like a mill. Did not make me feel comfortable at all in this age of Covid to have so many people running around in the tiny space they occupy filled with people getting glorified massages unmasked. Not to mention the treatments themselves which I'll cover. The treatment I got was almost laughable after spending about 5 minutes with the chiropractor. She proceeded to tell me that She was also an acupuncturist . From there she placed me with a " therapist " who placed an ice cold set of gel packs on my lower back and proceeded to hook me to an electric impulse machine which did absolutely nothing. From there , after about 5 minutes I was moved over like a cattle in a cattle car brigade behind a few peeps to do an adjustment. The adjustment was done within one minute of another " customer " and I didn't witness any cleaning , just a rolling of tissue covering. This chiropractor then proceeded to give me the worst back massage for about 60 seconds and highlighted it with " cracking my neck " without asking if she could do that. Many people have suffered strokes from that type "adjustment ". All in all the treatment lasted 2 minutes and was done on a table that had some sort of Wrestlemania contraption built in so that the patient hears when a little push occurs , which is all for show and effect. She rescheduled me for another visit and I took it just to see . Three days later I was put through the same mill only this time the adjustment lasted about 60 seconds and was a joke. She barely touched my back and exerted almost no pressure. It was a ripoff. I'll never go back and I suspect this is a mill foe your typical chiropractic scamming. Avoid. They're horrible.

My comfort level during this pregnancy is soooo much better than it was with my first, and I attribute so much of that to Dr. Evan. To make the experience even better, my almost 2 year old has accompanied me to every visit and Dr. Evan and Jen at the front desk have welcomed him with open arms, playing with him and involving him as much as possible. I felt rushed, as if on an assembly line, and the adjustment was unsatisfactory. Although a simple adjustment is a covered service with my insurance carrier, with a $0 copay, the receptionist and office manager refused to bill for the service and demanded I pay the full charge, $50.00 (This was after I declined to schedule multiple other services.) I paid the $50.00 charge and left. I reached out to my insurance carrier for reimbursement assistance and they advised charging me was a breach of the provider's contract and the carrier attempted to reach out to the provider to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were met with hostility and defensiveness from the office manager, along with a flat refusal to reimburse for the service. I won't return to this provider, ever.
