However if you are taking the train into the city and have a network rail card, it is best to buy your discounted plus bus ticket as an add on to your train ticket

The layout is not great as the only way to cross the tracks so if there is a train coming and you are on the wrong platform you had better hope it is not yours as you will have to watch the train pull into the station and stand a tht ecrossing gates like a muppet watching the train pull off without you! However, it is a very small village station, so i suppose this cant be helped. If you're hungry and do miss your train there is an Indian restaurant right next to the station, and a pub is within sight.

Epping is the eastern terminus of the Central Underground Line of London Transport, and is situated…read moreoutside the M25. It is the second-most northerly station on the underground network (after Chesham). History The line from Loughton to Ongar via Epping was opened in 1865 as an extension of the Eastern Counties Railway line from London Liverpool Street to Loughton. For most of its life it was a normal suburban railway branch, but was included in post-war plans to extend to Central Line beyond Leytonstone. The line from Loughton to Epping was incorporated into London Transport and electrified in 1949. The line beyond to Ongar was thereafter operated as a shuttle - by steam until 1957, and electric until its closure in 1994. Since then Epping has been the true eastern terminus of the line. The station The station preserves its original buildings on the main platform, as well as an attractive Great Eastern Railway footbridge across to platform 2. There is a ticket office, a large 500-space car park, and a bus stop for services to Harlow and Chipping Ongar. The station is in zone 6, and normally enjoys an off-peak 10-minute frequency of trains to West Ruislip - one of the longest journeys possible on the Underground system, nearly 35 miles away on the other side of the capital.

Wayne is amazing I…read morehave used his services to collect me from the airport, back in June when I was leaving Stansted. He knew the new car parking system which I was not aware of, so before my arrival in the UK he gave me the instructions where to find him, how long it would take until I would make it down to this car park that I'd never even previously knew existed - geography is not my strong point! Wayne ensure me that he would be there on time, even though my flight arrived early and I was straight out with my baggage Wayne was already there! He always checks the iPhone app whilst travelling to keep an eye on the flight times, landing etc this to me was just incredible. I texted him to tell him I'd landed and he already knew! The car was beautiful, comfy and spacious to travel in. Complimentary bottle of water a newspaper and mints were also available. Wayne is such a nice guy to talk to and spend time with, so the poor newspaper never got a look in :) Nobody else compares when it comes to travelling.
