I made it to Burstall before all the restaurants closed. The same families seem to own the hotels and the restaurant. Since they're Asian, I went with the Asian food here. I did peek over at the other table, crowded with (Burstall's own?) teenagers, who were getting the North Americanized wings, pizzas, etc. - but as a NJ native I am too much of a pizza snob to judge for that.
The spring roll was on point. Quite possibly freshly wrapped before being fried, it was light and hot. On the other hand, the beef with vegetables was a downer. There was not that much beef, and the thin slices were unfortunately low quality. The broccoli was plentiful, the sauce was nice, everything else was good including the service, so I'm only docking a star for the beef in the Province of Cows. I can't compare to Shevy's but for the name, but I judge this a most acceptable dining choice in town. read more
