The staff is friendly and delightful, and get to know you very quickly. The food is simple type sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. etc. but all very tasty. Love the small town atmosphere and that definitely is shown here. read more

This is your typical chain restaurant. I haven't eaten at Humpty's for years as I try to avoid…read morechain restaurants except when traveling where time is limited. That's when chain restaurants can really deliver. This particular Humpty's was a spur of the moment selection as it seemed like the only place in Kindersley that was packed with people. That's always a good sign. We had breakfast dishes for lunch and were eating light. We each ordered toast with two eggs and a side of fruit. The size of the order was just right as I didn't need potatoes and bacon or sausages just to sit in the truck for another 400 kilometres. Our food was fine; not great and not bad, just as we would expect from a multi-national restaurant chain and that's not a bad thing when you've been driving for hours and have hours to go before you get home. Humpty's met our needs. I can recommend this location if you find yourself passing through Kindersley Saskatchewan.

I gagged when he made my sandwich with those dirty gloves and he pushed all the ingredients of the sandwich flat to stay inside the bun. I paid $31 and only ate the bag of chips and drink, sandwiches went into garbage. Disgusting and poor infection control, shame on you Subway

I like to support Canadian businesses, but in this case I want people to know how rude and…read moreinappropriate this business has been towards a customer/potential customer. I went in there, as any person with an invisible disability would understand, with an urgent business to use the facility. However, the person behind the counter promptly and rudely refused me any access. I am not a cheap person, so I would buy something at a store to support the business, but that kind of behaviour towards potential customers is utterly inappropriate, especially towards a disabled person. The person wasn't patient or polite in any way, quite the opposite, so they not only do not deserve a customer, they deserve this review.

Well, there's not much to say about this place…read more When you go to a fast food chain, there are certain things you expect from it. You expect fast and you expect consistent. We waited 30 minutes for our meals. It was pretty evident they weren't organized in the kitchen. To put this into perspective, my husband, who used to work at Dairy Queen in his teen years was always told, "if it's more than 10 minutes, you're fired". My flamethrower burger was not a Flamethrower burger by Dairy Queen standards. It was soaked in some mild hot sauce, did not use the pepper jack cheese. In one word, it was gross. Wandering through the parking lot and near the entrance, you'll also notice a mini van with a very flat tire. It looks like it has been sitting there as a derelict for quite a while. I hope that if you do eat here (seriously, don't), that it will no longer grace you with its presence. So yeah, if you are passing through Kindersley, skip this place. It sucks.
This location gets two stars because of the bathroom trauma. It was horribly dirty and messy…read more What was almost worse was waking past the men's restroom, which had the door open. You could see that it was dirtier than the women's and the urinal had been ripped off of the wall with no repairs made, so it looked just terrible. An interesting point to me is that the restaurant itself is one of the larger ones I've seen with decent decor and yet the restroom is a one man show only. I had to stand in line, which was in a somewhat dark and dingy hallway. I also tripped on a door stopper on the floor, which is in place for the door to the kitchen. You could run into an employee as you walk out of the restroom if the timing was right. Service was a bit slow but there was at least one staff in training. The food was fine.

When a restaurant cannot make a basic burger properly, I don't have much hope for them for anything…read moreelse they could make. The burger patty was thin, burnt on the outside, and barely cooked on the inside. All I could taste was the burnt part, which was terrible. The fries were OK, but too much salt, and no other seasoning. It was so dark in there that I had difficulty reading the menu. Prices are high, and not worth it.
