It was such an awful experience! Also they only take cash and that was not told to us ahead of time. We came here because they are supposed to specialize in children but they only have one specialty chair. My son was crying and upset. I scheduled an appointment thru text message ( (505) 892-5439 ) and let one of the gals know that my son had never had a haircut done by anyone else but dad and that he needed a lot of patience since he can get physical and they said no problem. I'll admit I was very nervous bringing him in for the first time not knowing what to expect from my son who is also completely non verbal. He struggled at first to stay seated but the gal who cut his hair was so amazing with him and extremely patient that my son started to relax and he actually did very good. I appreciate their patience and understanding more than they can even imagine because things like this that may seem so small for others are HUGE for us and the ladies at Kid'z Place made us feel completely at ease.
