This was a lovely little pub on Burra's main square. I wouldn't necessarily say surprising considering that Burra is sort of a touristy destination, but the pub itself was surprisingly warm and friendly. It had a rather lovely, old-time atmosphere, which certainly sits well with the historical aspect of the town. In fact, it is probably the pub where most of the tourists tend to end up. Sure, the beer selection isn't all that great, but the atmosphere certainly is. I particularly liked the artwork around the walls of the main bar, and they also had a nice outdoor area on the verandah as well. read more
