One hr west of Scottsdale Az.

On the way to Scottsdale we stopped here to stretch our feet! Very clean rest stop! Cars on one side trucks on the other! Plenty of spaces! Clean restrooms! But the best part is the views! Blue skies!

I still love and appreciate this rest stop sooo much. I love how it is 98% of the time really clean. I love the aesthetics. It is beautiful. Today was the busiest I've ever seen it. There were at least 50 truckers parked. I wish I could own a food truck and park here, I think I could make a killing working a spot like this. Thank you to the workers who keep it clean.

This is the first rest stop on your way out of Phoenix. If you made the mistake of ordering Huevos Rancheros for breakfast, you'll be thankful for its close proximity to the city... - Lots of signs warning for snakes and scorpions.

Awesome sunset right at the rest stop

This rest stop is a great place to capture a beautiful desert sunset. Off to the side is an unobstructed view of the desert. Parking is plentiful and people come and go fairly quickly. Getting to this rest stop can be painful if stuck in traffic from Los Angeles to Phoenix due to road construction. I experienced that firsthand and was so excited to get out and stretch my legs. The restrooms in itself is clean and modern. My only feedback would be that there be a sign to enter/exit because people were coming in/out from both doors so it was hard to know who's next in line. Vending machines with reasonable prices are located right outside the restrooms. There are also poop bags available for dogs. #9/2018

Our Mission: Sustenance and Toiletry removal. Our Location: The highway in the middle of the desert. Our Savior: The Burnt Well Rest Area. This delightfully well #lit bathroom made for the perfect pit stop on our way to Phoenix. Do not be deterred by the sign displaying poisonous snakes and scorpions, you're gonna be fine. Stay on the sidewalk of glory and you will be *well* on your way to luxurious rest stop bathrooms and vending machines. I truly cannot recommend the vending machines enough. The bottled water-ice cold. The sour patch kids-fresh as a new born baby. To say we were reborn at this rest stop would be an understatement. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Windy night.

This stop was an unexpected one for me. A thunderstorm the likes of what I've never seen before was in full effect, I had to stop and take refuge. The stop was full of truck-drivers and regular cars. Lots of people. The restrooms are well stocked and clean. It's a nice rest area and I recommend that you take it.

Becareful i saw this next to the pets area

Pulled into Love's Travel Stop in Gila Bend somewhere between "I need gas" and "I need to get out…read moreof this car for five minutes before I lose my mind," and this place hit perfectly. First impression, it's big. Wide open, easy to maneuver, no weird angles or tight turns. After hours on the road, that alone feels like a luxury. You don't have to think. You just pull in, find a pump, and breathe for a second. Inside is where it really stands out. It's clean. Not "someone wiped this down an hour ago" clean, but consistently maintained. Floors aren't sticky, shelves aren't wrecked, and everything feels like it's been looked after instead of just survived. Grabbed a coffee and something quick to eat, and it actually felt like there were options. Not just sad gas station food sitting under heat lamps. You can tell they expect people to stop here, not just pass through. Staff had that steady, road-tested energy. Friendly without overdoing it. Quick, efficient, a couple casual words exchanged, and you're on your way. Exactly what you want in a place like this. Bathrooms were the clincher. Clean, stocked, no hesitation walking in. If you've done enough highway driving, you know that's half the battle right there. This is one of those stops that resets you a bit. You walk out a little less tired, a little less annoyed at the road. Five stars. No question. If I'm coming through Gila Bend again, I'm not even considering anywhere else.

We wrote a check, filled out the requested envelope info and dropped it in the secure slot indicating we were Passport America holders. Less than 30 day customers are directed to the specified space area. We stayed 3 nights and were 100% satisfied. The park landscape and design is perfectly in line with the desert. No grass but very nicely adorned with rock gravel and desert tolerating plants. We appreciated how clean the grounds were with zero trash or debris. There were no picnic tables but that was also ok since we bring suitable tables. This will be our spot whenever we visit our friends in nearby Goodyear. Thank you Saddle Mountain RV Park for such a relaxing stay!

We have a rooftop tent setup -- which is a very common form of camping now -- but were told it's not allowed. Their rules clearly haven't kept up with how people camp today. It was midnight, our kids were exhausted, and this was the only place around, yet no one was available to help despite signs saying "24-hour check-in." Everything is self-serve with a wall full of rules, and no real support for travelers passing through. If you're road-tripping, overlanding, or camping with a rooftop tent or small trailer, beware -- this park is RVs only and not traveler-friendly.
