It's the most happy doctor office I can ever recall being at. All doctors offices should be this positive with happy people making everyone FEEL BETTER. How My Mother Survived the Hospital from Hell…read more My mother endured a nightmare at the hospital. She was screaming for help from room number four, desperate for a glass of water due to severe dehydration. Nurses did not respond, and doctors did not respond, but after increasing her cries to a horrifying level, a police officer finally came to her aid. Eventually, a doctor walked in with a glass of water. She waited for several hours for an initial doctor's review, enduring the excruciating pain of a double fracture in her right shoulder. The doctor eventually provided some pain relief medication. When I stepped out of the room to get an update on my mother's prognosis, the doctor who had initially assisted us was nowhere to be found. After 30 minutes of searching and trying to find answers, we were informed that the doctor had left and would not see us because he was unfamiliar with the patient. The nurse directed us to the supervisor, who refused to bring in another doctor to help with my mother's ongoing pain. The lack of professionalism and compassion was hard to believe. While making another round to find help, a security guard started holding me like a prisoner. This lack of compassion made the entire experience feel like a prison show on television. This wasn't a hospital; it was an incarceration building, and that realization was chilling.

Given his age and underlying health conditions, we chose the Emergency Department at Grover Hermann Hospital instead of urgent care. We were admitted immediately, and the staff sprang into action with remarkable speed and efficiency. Their care and expertise brought the bleeding under control--a tremendous relief for both of us. Dr. Sam Berger and the entire team truly exemplify why Grover Hermann's Emergency Department is award-winning.

The nurses are amazing, the office is in great shape every time. We've been going for years, preferred the old office because it was less busy, but can't be too picky about that.

This is Dr Weinstein, about whom I've written a detailed review. Weinstein seemed like a good Dr,…read morebut I am not impressed with the staff. Office manager is rude, receptionists are lazy. Never notified me of a blood test til I was in the examining room, so I didn't fast, and results are outlier to past 15 yrs of tests, completely worthless. Been weeks still waiting for the visit summary staff promised to mail me. Took 2 months to get an appointment as a new patient, new ins co assigned him as a primary. Office is also a pediatric practice, so I got to share a small waiting room with a bunch of sick kids. I was scared to touch anything in there. It's almost too bad the Dr is nice, good thing I don't need a referral for in network specialists, and crystal run urgent care is good, so with any luck I'll never have to go back here. UPDATE: called about the visit summary. Spoke to office manager on the phone she was kind and apologetic . Considered perhaps I had rushed to judgment about the staff. Called back again to confirm it had actually gone out, asked for the office manager, was put on hold a very very long time. Dr Weinstein Himself comes on the phone, very surprising, thanked him and told him how much I appreciated him taking the time to resolve things himself. He was snarky and sarcastic on the phone, at first tried blaming me for error made by staff (how is it my fault they never mailed me the visit summary? They mailed me test results, why was summary not included with them when I had specifically explained at the visit when and why I needed it - BTW at crystal run you get the visit summary on your way out the door from your appointment not 2-3 weeks later) Anyway, dr weinstein ended up adopting that know it all attitude that infuriates people with drs. I couldn't help thinking I can't believe ppl bring children to this guy, maybe he just has issues with adult patients idk. The doctors attitude and behavior has convinced me to go elsewhere.

I was not having covid symptoms, but he was insistent I take a test. I've not had a cold in three years. I sweat once a month and have high blood pressure. But instead of addressing these issues, this "doctor" just tries to boost his ego and possibly his wallet by insisting I take a poisonous vaccine and a covid test. When I refused, he demanded I leave and made a scene outside of the office for everyone to hear. He ought to apply for a job with the pharmaceutical company. Because he's not interested in treating real medical issues. Good riddance! He used to be a nice person. I'm not sure what happened. Before the jabs were available in his office, he told me he wouldn't not treat me. Money talks I guess.

My wrist healed perfectly and he took good care of me. Flash forward to 2011, I have a ganglion cyst on the back of my hand. It shrunk down to almost nothing within two weeks after I went in for my first appointment on its own, but the care I received was great. Dr. Israelski is a pretty high energy guy, and the PA was very mellow. Overall, they're a great team and were great to deal with. I've met a lot of doctors and PAs who were not worthy of any praise, but that certainly does not apply to any of the medical staff I've dealt with here. Even the MRI tech was nice and talked to me while I was stuck trying to lay as still as possible for a half-hour in an awkward (but necessary) position. Hopefully, the cyst won't come back. If it does, I know where I'm going. Update 1-15-2012: When you go, make sure you DO NOT leave without paying even if nobody says anything about needing to pay. I've now gotten a bill months later for $20 that says "Copay must be paid at time of service". Excuse me? When I go to the window after being seen and they set up an appointment to have my scan read and never ask me for payment...that's not my fault. I'm not mailing my credit card information out, and I really don't feel like making a trip out of my way to go pay what you should have collected from me to begin with. Ridiculous, but I suppose I have no choice now.
