Bc my vehicle was hit by a drunk driver whom is covered by this insurance. The incident was Dec 20,…read more2023, today is April 10, 2024 and they still have not settled the claim. I cant get the claims person to call me back after leaving several messages. My attorney has not been able to speak with them bc they DO NOT RETURN CALLS.. Liberty Mutual has very poor professionalism, they DON'T RESPECT PPLS TIME! THEY WAIT YOU OUT HOPING YOU WILL GO AWAY. I'm very upset with this insurance company and hope they will resolve this claim but I'm doubting it!! I just want my truck fixed!! It's simple Liberty Mutual!!! You can see there is no traffic my truck was at a red light. Drunk driver came flying off the ramp on the passenger side of my truck and plowed into the side of it. My son and grandson were in it my truck and had it not been for fast thinking on my sons part my truck would have flipped over from impact bc it was up on the 2 driver side wheels a bout to roll but my son corrected it with steering into it. It could have bn much worse and Liberty Mutual, you need to consider that instead of a few thousand dollars of damage, it could be astronomical if one of my family members lost his life.

Terrible! I use…read morethem for car insurance and have it set up so that they automatically pull from my account. Last month on the 18th, I noticed that they had pulled the money from my account as they do every month. Then, I received a message that I would owe double the next month due to missing the previous month's payement--which wouldn't be possible because it was automatic withdrawal. I then went into my banking records and found the withdrawl on my account the previous month to make sure that it was in fact pulled, sure enough, it was. When I called them to figure out what was going on (it took me 10 minutes to get through their automated response and options to get to finances and talk to someone), I was informed that the charge was not doubled because I didn't make my last payement, instead, that I had added another person to my account. Before all this happened, I had received a letter from them informing me that I need to let them know important information like other people living in my house (I had a family living in my house for a little while), I then informed them that if I wanted to add someone else to my insurance plan, then I would let them know, otherwise, they need to stop wasting my time. Well it turns out, they had added automatically gone in and added another person to my account without telling me--that is why I was being charged double. Terrible insurance plan, extremely difficult customer service, and attempts at hiding important information from me. As of this week, I am canceling my plan with them and will find another car insurance plan.

We had our home, 4 cars and a rental policy(approximately 450.00/month) At the end of December, we received a notice to terminate our auto policies. for the reason the letter stated: use of car towing. I was shocked! we had used the towing 2-3 times in 15 years. I called the customer service number to question the notice and received no empathy or assistance. I then reached out to our local rep and again got no help; was told it was 2 towing charges and my daughter's wreck from 2018. the rep did offer to sell us another off brand policy through his company. we declined. our auto policies terminated January 30, 2023. We were happily surprised to find cheaper policies with another nationally known company. In late February, I received an email for payment request for the prorated amount owed on our home owner policy of 127.00. I immediately went to my app and paid the bill. i checked my account and saw a$0 balance and thought it was taken care of completely. I receiced a collection letter yesterday , hired by liberty mutual to collect the $127.00 that I had paid in February. I immediately called the number and spoke with a rep who only wanted the balance paid and would not listen that I had paid this already. I had also logged into our account and found the amount I had paid and had the transaction date and confirmation number. I shared this with the rep and got no where. Just wanted a payment. I gave up. I then called Liberty Mutual customer service and waited to speak with a rep. Explained my plight and finally had to ask for a supervisor since the person couldn't understand or see what I was speaking about. Finally got the supervisor, who spoke with the billing team and stated the payment on 2/22/23 was applied a different policy. I requested an apology letter to refute the collection letter and basically was told it was handled but no letter of acknowledgement would come. Needless to say, liberty mutual doesn't really value their customers.

On my car insurance it renewed in feb I canceled in April so for two months service I paid almost $ 750 for two months. My wife and I both have a clean driving record . Plus our 20 yr son is on there with a clean record please look elsewhere for your insurance needs
