Well, sort of since the lines only branch off in two directions. However, they will be bypassing this station for the new metro, which really annoys me, considering that this is a pretty major station. However, there isn't all that much around here anyway so I guess I can forgive them for that.

This is an incredibly busy railway station, especially a peak time, namely because pretty much…read moreevery train coming in from, or going to, the Eastern Suburbs stops here. It is actually rather convenient in a way since it allows you to change trains where necessary, especially to avoid the crush at the stations in the city. Mind you, as a railway station, he really is in need for a complete makeover because it does happen to be incredibly grotty.

Mind you, I rarely catch the train from here, namely because I generally stay on the train until we get to the next station along. However, as a station this one does happen to be quite nice, and well used as well. The trains through here are reasonably regular as well, which is pretty cool. Oh, and it is also a pretty short walk to Chapel Street.

However, like the Toorak station, this one is quite nice, though the lack of rest rooms is somewhat disappointing. Then again, that does have something to do with me coming from Adelaide where the wealthy areas don't really have trains (and the ones that did ended up having them decomissioned). Like, this is another one of those stations that I actually quite appreciate, namely because it happens to be on old style station, and is also unlikely to be torn down either, which is cool.
