This is an old village home in the extremely picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole, Yorkshire. The building is set directly on the main north-south road through town so you will hear a bit of road noise. Traffic almost disappears at night. We liked this place so much the last time we came to England that we booked it again.
The inn is very homey and you will feel like you are a guest in their home. The innkeepers are very gracious and will make you feel welcome. Downstairs there is a main room for guests and a dining room. Both are spacious and nice. The upstairs bedroom we had this time was quite large and the bathroom was huge. We opened our suitcases in the bathroom rather than in the bedroom. There are other bedrooms that are smaller.
You are literally right in the middle of the village. The pub is a five minute walk. Along the way you will pass holiday lets, a coffee shop, and the Ryedale Folk Museum. A two minute stroll further takes you to the village green. Sheep are everywhere in the village so be sure to close gates as you take your stroll. Enjoy your stay in this quaint little Yorkshire village. read more
