This library is located downtown in Bridgewater, CT. There is a front and side entrance that opens onto the adult floor, and a back entrance that opens into the basement level where the children's area is. The library is beautiful, particularly in the older part of the main floor. It has lovely woodwork, a fireplace, and windows that look out onto the main street. There's also art for sale on their walls, absolutely amazing pieces I think are in pencil that make walking in a bit like going to a gallery.
The librarians I encountered were friendly and interesting in hosting the public - I went for a Fika, where we had amazing snacks, coffee, and the chance to make a candle. Watch their website for other fun events! read more
