Continuing from first review…read more.. Robert A. Miller made me subpoena a former roommate in order to get her to be a witness. This was unnecessary as her email to me was sufficient. Additionally, there are many instances where Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg revealed that they did not examine all of the evidence that I provided. Robert A. Miller kept stressing issues of my pet cat's bodily functions. There was not a single complaint (no email or text, but only something the landlord wanted to add to her retaliatory eviction) of cat urine smell from my two roommates and their partners. I stated that numerous friends of mine have visited and can be witnesses to support that cat urine smell was never an issue. Robert A. Miller responded that the plaintiff Juliet Welch would then call on the other four downstairs tenants as witnesses of cat urine smell. How can downstairs tenants witness what happens in my upstairs apartment when the units are separate and the downstairs tenants and upstairs tenants are not friends and therefore the downstairs tenants are never invited inside the upstairs unit. Moreover, the downstairs tenants have a senior dog and a new puppy, both of whom require puppy pads and potty training. The downstairs tenants also dogsit. There are multiple animals at the 61 Franciscan Way address. A week before my conference court date, Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg required an additional $18,000 in order to represent me, essentially abandoning me. At which point, I asked them to stop work. My new counsel reached a settlement of my staying until the end of December (as opposed to October) and $9000 in new money. The attorney fee agreement clearly states that the $5,000 (the one where I gave $10,000) would ensure the case goes to a jury trial. This is a breach of contract, fiduciary duty, and fraud. Neither Robert A. Miller nor David M. Sternberg went over the retainer fee agreement with me. As a matter of fact, David M. Sternberg did not even sign the retainer fee agreement until August 14th, 2019 after receiving the additional $5,000 (where I gave $10,000). I filed a Ca State Bar Mandatory fee dispute in Feb. 2022. Robert A. Miller answered to serve David M. Sternberg who did not agree to be served until November 2022. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg ignored the CA State Bar Mandatory fee dispute so that the statute of limitations would expire. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg responded after I filed small claims because the CA State Bar Dispute was not going anywhere. I called everyday and left messages and CA State Bar only responded once when I received a call back that they will not discipline attorneys for not answering. At the small claims court date, David M. Sternberg twisted the fee dispute to become legal malpractice to claim a one year statute of limitation. I never used the language of legal malpractice in any of my communication with Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg set themselves up nicely so that they can claim that any court proceeding waives my rights to pursue a fee dispute with Ca State Bar. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg are unscrupulous lawyers who are greedy and take advantage of vulnerable clients.

I reached out to the Law offices of Robert Miller to see what steps I could take and what to do next since my requests to the landlord are going unanswered. Mr. Miller called me back within 24hrs of me reaching out and was very thorough in explaining what steps I should take before reaching the point of needing to officially engage legal counsel. Legal fees can add up quickly and I appreciated him pointing me in the right direction during our phone consultation. I intend on following his guidance and because of his willingness to help without my retaining him, when the time comes to engage counsel with this matter, I will absolutely be using his services. Thank you Robert!

I hired him, my ex was worth millions, living in a 1.3 million dollar home, several businesses and rentals my ex put in his name only over the 10 years we cohabitated and my ex and his current wife, earlier caught in perjury, in a deposition, and Mr.Biggs dropped the ball in Sonoma County and moved his practice to Wallnut Creek I guess to "reinvent" his business and reputation. It was ME that was called the night before trial, at 10.00 pm and I had to hire Randy Sugerman CPA for expert testimony and what a shock to find out Mike Biggs is still using the experts I had to find for my own case! I spent thousands, on a PI Aniquaid Kobe, that ended in expensive bills and ZERO results. I figured now that Mike Biggs has a son of his own he'd recctify the situation based upon fraud upon the court, the poor job he's done, and promised to help, and of course that got me nowhere but lip service. My daughter and I suffered great poverty due to this man's inability to get things done in time and in a professional way, but now that I have the original transcripts maybe it's just time we go to the BAR for ineffective council? I put this review up, and he keeps taking it down. If he put in half the effort of making things right long ago, maybe his bad faith actions wouldn't keep popping back up. No, I would not recommend this attorney he has no conscious IMHO.

My wife and I called Mr Biggs after a my wife a RN had run into a legal quagmire with her board…read more She was facing some serious accusations, based on mere hearsay from a employer that was far from ethical. My wife had stated several times she had done nothing wrong and would not accept any outcome other than the state board dropping their accusations. My wife had retained a standard " nursing defense attorney" who did a fair job, up until a final settlement meeting between my wife, her attorney and a deputy district attorney representing the nursing board. The offer on the table was to accept the accusation, admit guilt , and receive disciplinary action. My wife turned to her defense attorney for legal guidance. The attorney's recommendation was to accept these terms. My wife in that movement realized she was with the wrong attorney, this defense attorney, as it seemed did not want to fight this case in court , despite my wife and i stating we would take the case all the way up to the superior court until justice was served. This attorney dropped my wife then and there. My wife called me, very angry and feeling betrayed. We did research and called numerous attorneys that looked promising. We called Mr. BIggs, he returned our call promptly. We gave him a synopsis of the case, he stated " i love being in court, I am a trial attorney, we will get the outcome you seek." My wife and I had not heard any other attorney voice such a declaration. We decided to team up with him. We caught Mr Biggs up to speed regarding our case. He would call us, as he dealt with the court, the deputy district attorney, etc. He was attentive, and always reachable, returning our calls, responding to our concerns. Mr. Biggs sent out a few letters to the nursing boards attorney , and for about two week things went quite. My wife received a letter from the the state of California, the evening upon our return from a well needed break. The letter stated the nursing board had drooped its accusations. My wife's excellent reputation was preserved. Mr BIggs was key to this achievement, we are so grateful and so thankful for his expert services. Mr BIggs is now our family attorney, we will always refer our family and dearest friends and colleagues to him. Mr Biggs has proven to be a crusader for justice and ethics. He is now considered by us a learned and trusted friend. We sleep much batter at night now knowing if and when life deals us serious legal considerations , Mr Biggs is just a phone call away. I was withheld from my inheritance from a family member for eight years. To be fair, six of those were me waiting for that person to do the right thing. When that didn't happen I turned to Bob Hooy for help. I wanted a "junk yard dog" attorney that would go in there and demand my rights because I was tired of waiting. Bob isn't like that. He listens to people talk. He makes agreements. He is the voice of reason always especially when the other side is being totally unreasonable, as in my case. He was also very instrumental in calming me down so much that I really didn't think about my case in my day to day. Bob had it covered. I let Bob do the listening. Bob let the other side talk so much that they hung themselves with the judge. Case closed. 1.2 million. There was a lot at risk. Maybe you're facing a similar situation? Maybe you think you've waited to long. Or you think the other side has too much money and will drain you financially. Here is my advice. It doesn't cost anything to just pick up the phone and talk to Bob now. Like me, You'll be glad you did.

Not only was it a challenging time for her emotionally, but she had not been prepared to deal with anything on her own and he was that constant professional, who never stopped. I was not going to settle, knowing that the state of California protects tenants from retaliatory eviction. Robert A. Miller and his boss attorney David M. Sternberg teamed up to coerce me and gaslight me to try to get me to settle saying that it was a suicide mission to pursue my unlawful detainer. Robert A.
