This is cute antique store at the main square with a variety of items. You can easily spend couple of hours looking at collectibles. The ladies are always so sweet and helpful I always end up at this store driving to Burnet and I always find something cool to buy for home decoration. I love going to antique Malls when I visit different town. I don't always find something I just have to have, but I do always end up having a good time looking around. Such was the case at this antique mall. I got here mid afternoon on a Saturday and was kind of taken back that there really was not more business than what they had. We were one of only about three shoppers in the place at the time. Well, I enjoyed looking around there really wasn't anything I wanted at a price I wanted to pay. There were a few things I would've bought, but generally speaking the prices from all the vendors throughout them all on the things that I looked at seemed a lot higher than what I would pay and have paid elsewhere throughout the state. read more

You will find a lot of really cool antiques and collectibles here that are in good condition. There is a lot to see here and everything is well laid out, however, keep in mind this is not a thrift store, you will be paying retail prices here. It seems they have an endless supply of knickknacks in glass cases along with a lot of glassware. Near the front of the store, they do have a final sale area where things are greatly marked down. This is another antique store on the square near Carolees. There was a wide variety of furniture, plates, toys and other items. There wasn't anything that caught my eye but the prices were more than fair. The employee was very friendly thanking us for coming in. read more

One of the larger antique stores in Burnet with a good selection and variety of merchandise. It is well organized and they have some cool pieces that aren't way over-priced. There are about 4 or 5 antique shops in Burnet and this one is definitely the best. read more

It was very nice... a little higher priced than I was prepared for because I do a lot of estate sales which are generally less.

I didn't get to go through the store because the people at the counter were acting so hostile! The visit started out with my going in and saying hi (my son was present) and the woman telling me that I have to put my mask over my nose. I explained that I had septum surgery for a deviated septum and could not breathe through my nose and that the Dr said not to put a mask over it until it's healed. She sighed, like one sighs when encountering a major burden. I thanked her. She then told me about their COVID tracking and said we can sign the book and put in our phone numbers. My son didn't. I did. And then I mentioned to her that my husband is coming in and he has COPD and cannot wear a mask because it messes up his ability to breathe. Again with the sigh. By now her coworker was behind the counter, shuffling things and he had walked by us without his mask on. It was UNDER his chin completely. I mentioned to her that he didn't have his mask on to which she replied: "He works here and stays behind the counter". "He just walked back there a moment ago," I said. He yelled at me: "I AM FAR AWAY FROM YOU!!" Just then my husband comes in. Our dog is a 17-year-old miniature dachshund and we use a doggy stroller when we go into stores. He doesn't leave it for any reason and can't even if he wanted to because he is harnessed in. "No dogs!" The woman yelled. "We don't allow dogs!" My husband said "come on hon" and we left. I can understand being concerned about COVID but what I cannot understand, nor will I accept, is the rudeness. I will note here that in a place where people touch and handle things, she didn't say ONE WORD about using hand sanitizer. And it would have been NO TROUBLE staying 6 ft away from her. Had she given me the chance, I would have put the mask over my nose long enough to pay, I doubt that would have hurt a thing. The tone of voice, facial expression, and making people feel welcome, even in the midst of a pandemic, are important to customers. No wonder they had NO customers. When we went in, we were it. When we drove by later, still no cars out front. So I can't tell you whether or not the vendors have reasonable goods and prices or not. But I can tell you that if you're looking for friendly customer service, this is NOT the place to go. read more

This store was an absolute delight. I appreciated the mask policy and felt taken care of. They were kind with a few hidden gems here. This place is an absolute must see. So drop by if you can! read more

This is a perfect example of how I wish "a-ok" was just a bit better than the ugly orange stars I am about to impose on the lovely ladies at the Burnet Antique Mall. Located about one hour outside of Austin, this is a location that is surrounded by pretty much nothing else except for a town square if you are into that type of thing. Relatively easy to find on the west side of the square, you'll be welcomed by a traditional antique mall layout. Stalls with stuff in them, the smell of gently decaying stuff, and the ladies who I wanted to be my grandmothers. I was able to find a couple of vintage car oriented advertisements, all for less than $10. There are plenty of other goods to be had, but nothing else that tickled my fancy. That is the great thing about an antique mall. There is something for everyone. Kind of like a regular mall! Weird! read more

Love this Mall!!!! They have a very nice selection of real antiques, vintage items & memorabilia. The space is huge & easily maneuverable. The spaces are merchandised well. A pleasure to shop here when looking for gifts for my friends & family. They have great hours & they are adhering-to all of the Covid protocols. The women are always so nice nice & helpful. Very large place with a variety of items. I noticed one review mentioned they were "overpriced" and I'll have to disagree. I think it depends on what you are looking for. This isn't a flea market, Goodwill, or swap meet. It's an antique store so looking for collectibles and garage sales prices isn't going to happen. I found them to be fairly affordable on most items or in line with other places give or take a few $$ on others. You can truly walk back in time. I took my mother on this last adventure and she found things that reminded her of her great grandmother. It's more of an amazing walk back in time and sometimes I find that one nostalgic thing I can't live without. read more

This Sunday afternoon, Burnet felt like ghost town. And what better place to look for ghosts than in the piles and piles of ephemera from decades past offered by 16 dealers at the Burnet Antique Mall? We founds tons of costume jewelry, old photos, china, wall art and more, all priced to sell. You could easily spend a couple of hours in here and leave with an armload of stuff for about as much cash as you spent on gas getting out here. The sign says open at 9:30, the clock said 1030, the door said open, but the door was locked and the vendor was grouchy. We were clearly interrupting her coffee break. She showed us the exit and locked the door. Rude old biddy. Turn your sign around and change the open time. read more

Took the train from Austin to Burnet last weekend to shop/play. While in this store, I overheard the elderly couple working the counter disparage those who attempted to enter the store without masks. I watched multiple people decide not to enter store due to their mask requirement. I chose not to purchase items due to their militant mask/sanitizer/temp checks and the disparaging comments I overheard. read more
