I…read morenever really knew *how* I was supposed to eat, I just knew as a woman it should basically be nothing. Heidy helped me understand: 1) that I actually do need to eat 2) how to eat the right ratio of fat, carbs and protein and 3) literally every American is either protein deficient or dehydrated. Seriously, it's wild how much water and protein we should be consuming! Along with the nutrition counseling, I joined the boot camp that she supplements with a motivational community on Facebook and zoom calls to discuss our challenges. After I hurt my back (I learned from my PT that I basically wasn't standing correctly and that plus sitting all day caused tight hamstrings a short psoas and other fun things) Heidy offered to do personal training with me and was able to modify the workout for my needs and help me get out of physical therapy faster! Today, I'm someone who often weighs and tracks her food. I'm a person who will take a cancelled meeting as an opportunity to get a workout in.... Just because!! I don't recognize myself, my body is more toned than ever before (including when I weighed less) and my mind actually enjoys exercise to the point that I'll do an impromptu hour long HIIT workout based on Heidy's class. I'm forever thankful to Heidy and never going back!!

    Where do I even begin? Heidy was a God sent when I most needed help. October 2021 left my doctors…read moreoffice so discouraged. My blood work was a mess. Not to mention that being in menopause didn't help either. I am 4'11 and I was weighing 151 pounds. My doctor told me either you get it together or you will put yourself in an early grave. I prayed that night and asked God to please give me some direction. Out of the blue Heidy sent me a message asking how I was doing and I saw this as my opportunity. I joined her program. She taught me how to eat, exercise and always keep me accountable. Fast forward 6 months later I have lost a total of 18 pounds went back to get my blood work done and my doctor told me my labs were perfect!! Heidy thank you I could have not done it without you. I 100% recommended Heidy. I was willing to put in the work and she gave me the push I needed. Heidy you are a blessing.

Even though I like working out, when I do it alone I'm at risk of becoming a lazy gym robot who just repeats the exercises I like at a comfortable weight without really pushing myself. This, unfortunately, leads to diminishing returns over time. What I like about FitMethod 413 is that you can never become a lazy gym robot because the workouts change every day. You don't just get to pick the easy exercises you like, and the trainers encourage you to lift heavier weights (within reason). That is why I think it's worth it to pay for a membership to this gym, rather than just coasting by at some other gym, or going to a group fitness class that's so crowded you can cut corners because the trainer won't notice. Another thing I like about this gym is that a lot of the exercises are compound moves, so (for example) instead of just doing a squat or a bicep curl, you will do a squat with a bicep curl. You can feel that these are better exercises that give you more results for your time in the gym. And it's helpful to have a trainer on hand to assist with form. For someone that's trying to lose weight or new to working out, I think this would be a good gym because there is nutritional coaching in the unlimited membership, and that accountability of balancing your workout and your food intake is helpful. Also, everyone here is super approachable, knowledgeable, and encouraging.

In order to get the "full body" experience, FIT 4:13's method targets and focuses on different parts of the body- ie: Wednesday is Leg Day. The facility is really nice, they make great use of a smaller space for classes of 8 or less. No gimmicks or tricks here. I enjoy coming in, love the people (both the coaches & fellow classmates), and the support for a healthy lifestyle is incredibly helpful. I'm super awkward and not very athletic. They are constantly directing me which I desperately need and ask for. I also really love that I can use the MindBody app and register for classes easily. This is the best thing I've found in a long time :)
