I genuinely wanted to make this place my new workout home. I found them on Yelp and visited their…read morewebsite. I sent them an email through the contact us form on their site. However, over four days later, I still haven't received a response. I tried calling them three times, but unfortunately, no one answered. Two days go by and I sent them a direct message on Instagram requesting more details about the packages. Their website is poorly organized, lacks updates, and fails to provide specific information about the contents of each package. They responded to my message, apologizing and stating that my first class would be free. However, they didn't take the time to answer my other questions. I attended my first class this month, and unfortunately, the front desk lady was not very informative during my initial visit. She simply directed me to the room with the trainer without providing any further guidance. However, I met with trainer G, who was incredibly kind, detailed, and patient. Therefore, my concerns are not directly related to him.He asked me if I wanted to schedule a phone consultation with him and a man named Jonathan. I did so the next day, but I never received any communication from them, not even a phone call, message, or email, despite the fact that they had been completely unresponsive for days. I'm not surprised by this, considering their initial behavior. As I was leaving, the front desk lady with extremely short hair asked me if I had a card on file and to pay for the number of classes I wanted. It appeared to be a blatant attempt to make a quick buck, which deeply offended me and made it abundantly clear that I would never return to this gym or recommend it to anyone. With that being said, I believe the facility and business as a whole are extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and unorderly in their operations. They urgently need a complete overhaul because my entire experience was appalling. This is not how a business should be run.

This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give more stars. My second child is 1.5 years old…read moreand I did not bounce back as well this time around. I tried the treadmill by myself. I tried going for walks with the baby in the stroller. I lost motivation after a week. I had heard of Orangetheory, googled it and signed up for the free class. The girl on the phone was so nice and talked to me as if she already knew me. We set up a time and she asked me to arrive 30 minutes early. I'm really glad she said to do that. My first class was with Kristi. Before the work out Kristi walked me through the gym area and explained all the equipment. This really made me feel more comfortable. No body likes being the "new kid" and she made sure I was welcomed. I sat down briefly with the gal from the front desk. She was able to explain basic terms used by the coach during the workout; again, making me feel more confident and comfortable. The workout itself was AWESOME! I really experienced the cardio I wanted and use of weights. I would have never been able to do these types of workouts without guidance. I really felt like I had a personal trainer. I was sold! Today I just finished my 8th class. I'm on week 3 of my new routine that includes Orangetheory. I am so proud of myself and I don't think I could have got into a healthy routine without Orangetheory. For people looking for results, my clothes are already starting to fit better. As far as strength, my first class I was using 5 lbs weights, second week 8 lbs. Today's class 10 lbs. My goal in the next month is to be able to use 12 lbs weights. For everyone who is as out of shape as I am, don't hesitate. The first class is a little awkward since you are new. But the support you receive from the front desk, the other members and the coach keeps you motivated and focused. Side note, * I love that the reward for referrals goes to your school of choice PTA. * The place is so clean! I mean spotless. Cleaning after use of each piece of equipment is required. Also, I see the staff cleaning the equipment between classes. *The pricing is flexible for what you need. For me I picked a membership that would allow me to come to unlimited classes. My membership also allows me to go to a different location near my moms house. I have not had every coach at this location but everyone I have had has been encouraging and gives each person individual attention when needed. (Which I really appreciate being new to working out. My form needs help in order to workout correctly.) A big shout out to the coaches Kristi, Vicki, Mandi and Katy.

Located on the opposite end of Target this gym is a happening place. I went for the "your first…read moreworkout is free" early on a Saturday in November. (sorry for the late review!) I was thankful there was another woman who was also a newbie too because we were able to help each other out while doing the workout. They walked us through a tutorial of what to watch for and gave us a heart rate monitor (HRM) to sync up with their program. We also met the trainer for the class, Vicky and she was super friendly. As we were done with the walkthrough, lots of sweaty people were walking out of the current class and the studio was full ready for the next class. Since it was their 1 year anniversary party they had a live DJ for the music and we started the class. I jumped on a rower and followed the instructions which included short circuits with weight lifting as well as treadmill work. Vicky, the trainer would check in with me periodically to make sure I was doing okay and honestly even though I was in a full class of over 20 people I felt like I was working one-on-one with a trainer. Before I knew it the hour had went by and I was emailed my HRM stats, how many calories burned and etc. - the key is to stay in the "orange zone" for 12-20 minutes. I've done all kinds of workouts, kickboxing, boxing, HIIT, P90x, Insanity, etc. Needless to say, this definitely kicked my butt, I burned a bazillion calories and I will definitely hit this workout up again.

I was so disappointed in this studio. It's in a great area, but the studio is only one room for everything, very cramped, and when people come in early for the next class it is disruptive during the yoga rest at the end of the practice. The class was Ok, there was a lot of dead space between moves, and it did not feel like a very good workout overall. And there were only a few moves gone over, not very cohesive. I tried calling a few times to cancel my last 3 classes that I reserved because I had to return home to New Orleans last minute for a family emergency, but there was no voice mail, the phone kept ringing. I was fine loosing the $30 since I only was able to attend one class for the week. I planned on sending an email once my flight landed back home and I was able to get settled and help my family through this difficult time, obviously sending an email to a yoga studio after several attempts at calling, was not my main priority. When I got to my computer yesterday, I had received a very snarky email from the owner advising me that she was charging me $10 for each class I missed, when I explained that I tried to call and inform that I could not attend, she very rudely replied that it is not her responsibility to cancel my classes for me. Over it, and make sure you do not save your credit card information to the site, they WILL charge you without your permission and there is no option to delete your card info once added, you can only edit or add another card. I recommend the Vita Prana Studio a little further down Atlanta road if you are new to the area.
