You literally have to dig through piles of stuff on the floor to find what you are looking for. Boxes everywhere. Clothes scattered everywhere. It's incredibly frustrating that they submit checks after the due date, even though you mail them beforehand, and then you have to keep calling to waive the fees, which they won't. They have multiple stores like TJX, Marshalls, and HomeGoods all over the country, but you cannot go in and pay like you can at Macy's or other major retailers. This is so surprising and inconvenient for their customers. I'm complaining about TJX charging interest and other fees even though I pay on time, and as a customer, I have to keep calling to waive them, which they still haven't. This is robbery.

The Crazy Deals really are crazy good deals. They definitely carry their fair share of cheaper…read morestuff, but you're getting what you pay for. A lot of their items are higher quality and last a while - for example we have kayaks from here and other than some torn bungee cords they're in pretty good shape and were much more affordable than other options. The staff is also always as speedy as possible and pleasant while checking out. I can always count on Ocean state to have stuff for whatever random activity I want to take on.

First, never make a special trip from anywhere out of your area to come here. I live a good 30 minutes from Brockton and Bridgewater, in a much more desirable area, and only visit this area for the Kmart, and only if I'm down this way (I guess this area can brag about having the ONLY Kmart, since the Braintree store is gone). Anyway, with CVS and Kmart both a stone's throw away, there is absolutely NO reason to visit the West Bridgewater Family Dollar, at its current state. One employee said they were closing in 2 days (after my visit a few days ago), yet I don't know when their new store is set to open up (where McDonald's use to be in the parking lots of this sad, sad deserted plaza, with nothing left besides the Yard Sale store (which isn't half-bad), and Planet Fitness. There used to be a Big Lots, Shaw's and some other retailers, all of which have closed throughout the last few years.) The new store looks fine and much better than the current dim, dark, gloomy location, that is ready to just fall apart (literally). The atmosphere inside the store was awful. So many loud, annoying employees and customers (besides the somewhat, decent woman behind the checkout register). The store was barely stocked, mostly everything being at the new store, a disappointment to me and other customers. Just a disappointing store (and plaza, for that matter), that I have no desire to returning to. I will update in a few months with an update, as I will give the new location ONE chance. March, 17 2016 UPDATE : The new store (where McDonald's used to be in the parking lot) is now open and much better than the ratty old spot. The store is large, clean and bright. Clientéle and staff are still not great, but it's fine for a few quick things, and not deadly like the previous location. 3 stars.

It has such a dirty feel to It, the employees are rude and some of the customers I have seen in there are just as bad. The only thing I saw that was worth it was a very very limited selection of room darkening shades. There were 2 colors and 1 size, but the price was great. I asked one of the associates and she happily looked with me and we couldn't find them. While I was waiting in line she came over with a case of them she found in the back room. She went above and beyond looking for me and made my day. She was kind, helpful and had a genuine smile (I could tell, even though she had on a mask). I realize my purchase didn't amount to much, but she took the time to help me out and for that, I appreciate her. I only with I got her name.
