Although this store has good deals, and great items, it is not going to be the most fun environment to shop. I've been in a lot, and usually score some good fines at a good price, but they're always some aisles with disarray. The checkout line always takes quite a while, customer service is not great. This time, the door was literally gated in and out, with an employee on site, letting you know she was letting people in and out for your safety. Not a super fun shopping experience, but it was still crowded. I would still come back to look for fun items, but even if the mess doesn't bother you, keep in mind the extra time you'll need to check out! read more

I hadn't been to Burlington in years and had some time to kill so I decided to pop in. Yikes. Right in the entry you are met with security and a roped off entry (didn't feel welcoming in the least). I'm guessing that shoplifting had been an issue? Merchandise was extremely sparse. They had a few decent items but nothing worth warranting a visit back. We didn't need to utilize them, but fitting rooms were also closed. The icing on the cake for me was when my toddler needed to use the restroom. We went to open the door only to find that they keep them locked and we would have needed to go all the way to the front to ask for help and then walk all the way back again. This is the OG location in my mind, though it was the Kmart of my childhood. I love Burlington, there are super unique items and toys for everyone. I love the purse selection, the jewerly selections and the shoes! Aside from all the womens items, the home decor is also cute and there is a lot of paintings vs wordy sayings. The baby and toy section is so good (when the shelves are stocked). Everything is super affordable, even cheaper than TJ maxx. Bonus, dollar tree is next door too! read more

When I come in this store I am FOLLOWED!! I've never stolen anything from any stores not just from them! I can't peacefully shop someone is on my backside or eyeing me and my husband from down the aisle! They have more secret shoppers than items! I recently had an experience at the West Center Burlington store. I've noticed that the store is always in disarray. Nothing that is sized, is in the right spot. It's always extremely chaotic. There are NO employees on the floor Tuesday, I returned some items. The cashier was rude, and couldn't be bothered with me. I purchased some shorts, and preceeded back to that one and only cashier. He snarled, huffed and threw my item in a bag. I got home and realized that the pants had spandex in them and I probably could use the size smaller. So on wednesday I went back to buy the smaller size, and exchange. I thought I'd better try them on first and when I went to the changing room it was closed. Lots of stock, boxes, equipment was piled up in the changing room, so they obviously did not have any future hope of having it open. I thought I would purchase them and then return the ones that I liked and fit properly. I went up to the cashier and there were 2 people standing at there registers. They were laughing behind their registers and chatting with their boss. I was told later that she is the manager. They were laughing hard and loud and making jokes while three people. THREE customers stood for ten minutes, and waited for them to finish. Not once did anyone look up or look to see if there was anyone they could wait on. Then another woman came up behind me and said cashier number six can help. I said he can? Why hasn't he helped me ten minutes ago. "Sir cashier number six can help you". The cashier looked at me, for thefirst time. I'd had enough I pushed my cart I said I don't need these. I said i'm never gonna shop here again, if you treat people like this. The idea that a business doesn't understand customer service, when actually we pay their salaries. No customers, no job, no store! I miss the days when people actually wanted a job, and there was actually service, and people actually cared, and wanted to help you. It definitely is not this messy, chaotic unprofessional Burlington. read more

Last time I was in this store it was EMPTY... It was a breath of fresh air to walk in and see it packed of goodies again, and a great selection at that.. BUT what I find extremely weird is that 95% of sweat pants now days have elastic around the bottoms lol.. WEIRD!! I am still annoyed that they have no dressing rooms to try items on (because most things never ever fit me the way I need them to)! I am extremely happy that Burlington stores have not closed down through the pandemic like a lot of places.. Had 5 pair of shorts to try on, went to the back, the dressing rooms are closed. Stood in line to pay, thinking "okay, just bring back what you don't want". Then as I stood there, I decided I was not accepting the "new norm" they were forcing upon me. Went to my car and bought what I wanted from Amazon. Time to let go of the politics Burlington! This is not for this specific location, although this location is a hot mess 95% of the time you go here. Dressing rooms over flowing, clothes on the floor, shoe department tore up, and never enough cashiers. No this is for the online order I placed and was soooo excited for. I place an order 10/3. It said it would be delivered 10/06/18. Super fast shipping I couldn't wait. Well according to the delivery company my package was delivered on Saturday to my "front door". I was home allllll day Saturday, and I have a porch, not just a front door. There is no proof of delivery and Burlington's customer service told me to dispute the charge on my credit card & repurchase the items I wanted. WTF. the items I wanted aren't even available now!!!!! What am I supposed to do??? I was so excited by the price, quality, and value I was receiving. And now I just want Burlington to go out of business. If you can't treat customers right, you don't deserve any. read more

Burlington Coat Factory is one of my three favorite stores that line Center from 120th to 132nd. I've found so many good deals at these stores they all deserve 4/5 stars. Burlington Coat Factory is amazing for coats and jackets of all kinds, but they also have a huge selection of other clothing, including dress apparel. They have racks upon racks of athletic clothing by brands like Nike, Puma, and Adidas, as well as some cheaper less known brands. Shorts, shirts, track pants, hoodies, running jackets, you'll find just about all of it. Along with a good selection of Huskers stuff! Lots of jeans and dress pants (not as much as TJ Maxx) by brands like Nautica, Lucky, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. They have a decent selection of tops like button downs, sweaters, and t-shirts also. The biggest and best section is obviously the coats and jackets. They literally have any kind of coat or jacket you could possibly want for an amazing price. I've bought jackets that were $600 on Amazon, even cheaper than instore, for under $200. If that's not great, I don't know what is. They have a huge selection of leather, wool, peacoats, walking coats, rain coats, ski/active coats from brands that everyone knows and looks for. If you don't find a coat you like here, there's a problem. read more

Came here to buy some pantyhose. Had not been here in more than a year. Last time I shopped here it was on the decline. Place is an utmost craphole now. Clothes are chinzy now and kids screaming. Just close it for heaven's sake. They did not even have pantyhose!! read more

My first trip to this store and.....wow! This store is dirty. It reminded us of a big good will store. Shoes everywhere, racks, floor, hanging off the shelf, you name it. Unsupervised children... This is literally one of my favorite places to shop for super cute and super pocket friendly clothes, shoes coats and etc. Bu one thing you should know is that if you find something you want on the shelf buy it now, dont wait and think its going to be there when you come back, because it will not i promise. the clothes and shoes can be a bit disorganized but over all great place to shop and great area, the plaza definitely contours to help make all your shopping and dining needs convenient. read more

This was my first time here and I was not impressed. All I needed was a coat to replace my old one that the zipper had broken on. For a place that calls themselves a coat factory I would expect to see a better variety of coats. I couldn't get over how dirty the store was. Items had not been put back on the rackets and the carpet look like it needed to be deep cleaned. Overall the store was filthy and unorganized. read more

I love Burlington, best place to find the winter must haves for great prices. I spent $300 today but I got a nice down winter coat (designer brand), new leather gloves, and the hubby a down coat. It's a shame this one doesn't have much stock as the locations back home, if they would have had a larger selection I would have given more stars. read more
