It was also the least crowded one I've been to as well. No crying babies, and it was actually quiet. The ambiance was extremely pleasant, but the selection wasn't amazing, and I didn't find to buy. I probably won't be back, since it's a little out of my way. If I lived near here though, I'd probably frequent it sifting for sales.

But this time, a reminder app on my new iPhone told me check out a great deal I shouldn't miss at Kohls.com. So, I rushed over to the nearest Kohl's store. I couldn't believe it was so easy to get here on Highway 6. This is the 4th Kohl's store I've been in Houston. The parking lot is a lot bigger than other locations. I think it was because Palais Royal left the mall. Everything was so neat at this Kohl's store. Store has a logical layout and I didn't have trouble locating men's department. The clearance area was huge with everything in one place. I didn't have to guess the prices because they were clearly labeled. I bought what I wanted, of course, it was on sale. I was short to earn another $5 Kohl's cash after calculating the price with a cashier. She let me go back to get more stuff while holding my purchase. She was so efficient and I didn't get her name because they don't put cashier's name on the receipt anymore. I spent about 2 hours shopping and lost track of time. I think I may have skipped my lunch. Since I was in Missouri City, I decided to get something to eat before heading back to Houston.

(This has happened at the last few Buckle stores I've gone in.) I couldn't find anything I wanted to get anyways. I've had this gift card for like 3+ years and I can't find something I love. I was so pleased to see it was open, I knew it was set to open this summer. I love the bright interior. The store is well laid out with very friendly and helpful staff. They carry misses and petite sizes in the store but if you want women's sizes (1X - 4X), they can order it for you and you get free shipping. Today when I went in, I was helped by the store manager, Kismari. She is very knowledgeable and knows her products. She acted as my personal shopper as we wandered around the store picking out items. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to pick items that suit my tastes. I've shopped online with J Jill for many years and know the fabrics and love the clothes, but to have that extra touch of having someone walk the store with me was great. Kismari sat down and checked on size and color for all my items that needed to be ordered since women's sizes are all ordered and then delivered to your house. She also explained all the promotions to me so I could save as much as possible. She took the time to find out that I'm a teacher which means discount! Teachers receive an extra 15% off of all regularly priced items. She also told me about opening a credit card with J Jill. I really really didn't want to open a credit card, but as a frequent J Jill shopper, the perks just couldn't be ignored! I'm so excited about all my items coming in the mail. I'm also excited that I can return anything that doesn't work for me to the store. The store is so easy to get to. I parked within 10 feet of the entrance and walked right in. I love that it is located in the outdoor mall area because I don't have to go into the actual mall. If you love comfortable casual women's clothing, this is a great place to shop and say hello to Kismari for me!

I wasn't familiar with the J Jill brand so I looked around to see if anything caught my eye. While the styles are not exactly me, I did see a couple of items I liked so I inquired about tall lengths. I was informed that they do not carry tall length in store or other. The sales lady also informed me that sizing is generous for this brand and the size small may be a little roomy on me as well as short. I appreciated her giving me this truthful information rather than just trying to make a sale. The clothing I looked at was quality clothing and pricing was reasonable. The kind attitude and helpfulness of the sales lady as well as the store itself deserve an A-OK. I'd be willing to come back again and browse. It's possible they could start stocking tall lengths and adjust sizing in the future and I could find something.

Target is legit my happy place. The clothes are SO cute, comfy, and affordable. Most of my clothes are from here. No shame. Also, their PJ's are the best out there. Their underwear puts shame on Victoria's Secret's 5/$25 deal because they have a 5/$20 deal that has more options, is organized SO well, and is flattering for most body types. Speaking of expensive stores, their workout clothes are AMAZING. No need to spend $$$ at LuLu Lemon when you have the same type of styles here for a fraction of the cost. Who needs the mall when you have Target. Seriously. Another favorite thing about Target is just the ambiance. Something about all that red just makes me feel calm. As a Type A person who LOVES organization, I love seeing how neat everything always is. The shopping carts always roll so smoothly, everything is always so neatly organized in the shelves, the cashiers are always so sweet and polite. It's just an all around smooth experience.
