I man with long hair and a bad attitude came out from the office. He was pacing back and forth between the office and the front desk area. He was very fidgety . Don't waste your time. We, my daughter and I, we're greeted by a nice young man. Since we checked in late last night, he gave me a extension on when we could check out, which is greatly appeeciated. The hospitality was even displayed by his dog, Daisy. ...The next day.... My daughter and I walk over to the lobby. As we're walking, we observe this old man creeping around the empty lot. When we entered the lobby, he entered the lobby. He sat in his corner while we were getting ice and attempting to get breakfast, which wasn't a lot of options, 3 kinds of cereal, milk, muffins and coffee..... that was their continental breakfast. My daughter went to be by the Koi pond. He got up and was watching her behind a plant. When I went to go look at the fish, he stayed right behind me, as if I was going to touch the fish. Psychotic nightmare of a motel. Staff on drugs and they try to steal your money. Has fake positive reviews with fake pics on their listings. Booked on Priceline an hour out, paying, and receiving full confirmation with email. I arrived to find the place looking so dilapidated that I thought I was at the wrong address and circled Burlington more before realizing it was my motel that I booked as the addresses matched. I parked and walked inside. It looks falling apart and untouched in years with bad lighting and no staff at the front desk. I ring the bell and a white man with many strange necklaces, covered in tattoos, and reeking of meth walks out and begins insisting I'm at the wrong place and couldn't possibly have a reservation. I insist I have one and give him my full name. He checks the computer before continuing to argue with me. Finally he says to wait and goes to the back room again. He then comes out and "finds" me on the computer suddenly with a reservation but for 4 guests, not 2 as I booked on Priceline. He also demands I pay him for the room now. I show him my phone, email, confirmation with his motel and Priceline that I paid. He laughs in my face and keeps repeating the price raising his voice to cut me off anytime I try to speak. I refuse to double pay and he laughs as I storm out. I realize I left my ID inside so I go back to retrieve it. He pretends to hand it to me and keeps moving it out of reach each time I try to grab while laughing and taunting me before finally giving it to me to leave and hurling insults at me as I exit. It took me almost an hour to stop shaking and calm down to find another nearby booking at a more reputable place Do not stop here. Stay safe out there. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover! The staff was incredibly nice and made an effort to offer me any discounts available to me (military, AAA). They showed me the room before I booked it and I was so surprised to see how nice it was! Clean and simple. Perfect for our one night stay but easily could have stayed longer as it had a mini fridge and microwave. No hair dryer but that didn't matter for us. Bed was extremely comfy, and again, everything was so clean and updated. Easy and quick checkout. Highly recommend! read more

This is a sketchy roadside motel. The employee was nice but the motel is not. The bathtub did not work (for my toddler) and the water pressure was low. Neither lamp worked. The fire alarm was dismantled and laying inside a drawer. The mini fridge was warm and did not get cooler. We're just driving through and had booked it online. I would not stay here if I had seen it in person first. I also would not stay here without my husband...for safety reason. Definitely spend the extra cash and go somewhere better. read more

This is a nice place, looks older from the road, but rooms have been re-done. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms, hardwood floors. Great little Chinese restaurant in the lobby and a liquor store just a block away. Friendly staff and cheap! Impressed! read more

Stayed here for one night when passing through to Denver. This is no 5-star hotel, but I appreciate the small efforts to make it a nice version of what it is: a highway motel for tired travelers. This room was especially clean, VERY clean, including the carpet, floors, fridge, showers, sinks, and SHEETS. I think a comfy bed is the most important part of a highway stay, and this was a very comfortable bed, though the pillows were a little hard. Basic cable, no frills, but the room was very large and well laid out. It had recently been refurbished and/or repainted. The front desk attendant was kind and helpful. Attached the inn is a (likely the ONLY) Chinese restaurant in Burlington, and it was pretty tasty. A good variety of dishes on the buffet, rice, noodles, egg rolls, crab rangoons, and soups. Overall, it was worth the stay and I'd recommend this over a Motel 6 or Days Inn any day. read more

This hotel is great! Very clean, great beds, nice TVs, good parking and a very friendly staff. It was $50 a night and well worth it! The owners were awesome. Don't confuse this place with the Burlington stay inn!! I've only used yelp to leave a review 2 times and my other review was for the Burlington stay inn and it was so bad that Yelp kicked it out. Don't stay there it's cheap but you need a solid dose of penicillin and a tetanus shot when you leave.. I will definitely stay here the next time I travel! Burlington inn is a great place to rest! I am amazed at the quality and hospitality with such a low price. read more

It was dark and storming so we decided to rest up while going cross country, after seeing pics of updated rooms and decent reviews I decided to give this place a shot. Bad move, after opening the door to the room I was greeted w a bed that was slept in, dirty towels and empty beer bottles, I figured, ok housekeeping missed this room, no big deal. I went back to the desk with pics of the room and the OWNER, a taller thin framed Asian man, who prior told me he took over the ownership just 6 months ago, told me "I don't care about that, we are now sold out" . Avoid!! This is the nastiest room I have stepped foot in. we booked it thru Hotwire so we didn't know what we were getting. Big mistake. Traveling from Mississippi and with two children, so it's too late to try and find another room, so we're stuck. The room was FREEZING cold inside, it's the end of December in Colorado, it would've been nice to turn the heat on for us. The door lock doesn't properly lock, there's a shady chain lock, not like that's much protection... the parking lot is not lit at all. It looks like a drug hotel, or prostitute hang out. The toilet is covered with grime all around the bottom, and the tub needs to be re done. I'm trying my hardest not to touch anything in here. read more

Rented room for a week. Room are good size abd have been fixed up. When i signed the agree ment nothing was checked off i asked him if that ment we got breakfast. Yes dont worry. This morning my 8y/o son was hungry when he woke up. So we went to the office and were rudly told you rented by the week you dont get breakfast. 180 a week and my kid couldnt get a damn muffin? Do not judge a book by its cover! The outside of this place is unfortunate, however, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and updated. Paul, the front desk worker, was extremely kind and helpful. I'll be the first to admit that I've seen a couple of truly atrocious motel rooms in my time. Based on the curve of cheap highway motels though, this place isn't so bad. As the previous reviewer guessed, I was indeed exhaused when I got to Burlington. This was the third motel I tried when I got to Burlington. One didn't have anybody at the office and one was booked up. The office here is bright and easy to find, and there was somebody there in the middle of the night. True, the room was $60- inexpensive but not super cheap. The room was really large, clean though not new, and felt safe. I believe that for an additional fee there may be pet friendly rooms. Overall, I was not disappointed by my stay here. It's about the best one can hope for in a cheap highway motel. read more

I pulled in about 5:30pm after my meeting and thought the place was abandoned. when I went into the lobby, a young man helped me find my reservation. The Asian man next to him did not make eye contact or say anything to me. My room had no carpet, only tile and linoleum, which might have been nice except that there was a huge gap under the door and the wind blows there a lot. The floor was gritty and dirty. My feet were filthy by the end of my one night stay and so were my sheets. The breakfast was cold cereal or a muffin or waffle. No fruit, no protein. there were two men that looked like employees standing there messing with the waffle maker. Not one of the staff or people in the lobby made eye contact, said good morning or acknowledged my presence at all. It was creepy and off-putting and I will NOT stay there again. read more

I reserved a room through Hotwire because I knew we would be arriving late (traveling to Kansas with my daughter). Arrived about 1:00 AM and obviously woke the guy up. First thing he said was, "We have no rooms," even though the parking lot was almost empty. I told him I had already paid for the room. He said the reservation was cancelled because I arrived after midnight. I told him that was ridiculous and that the whole point of Guaranteeing for Late Arrival / Prepaying is to make sure we had a room. He said I should have left home earlier!!! Whaaa??? I told him that was none of his business, clearly shocked that he would say something like that. After 10 more minutes of arguing, I told him he would have to refund my money and he told me to go get it from Hot Wire. I was so angry I was almost yelling and he told me to "Watch my mouth." Told him I would call the owner of the hotel and he said he was the owner. My daughter was crying when we left. Ended up staying at the BEST WESTERN HOTEL 1/2 block away. read more
