I can't recall how it happened that I chose Millie Armstrong for our dog, Zeus nearly 11 years ago…read more Upon his adoption- before I brought him home, I scheduled a visit to get acquainted and talk about preventative meds. Little did I know we would meet earlier than scheduled- the little pup I'd adopted had a virus that was making him very sick. I called and he was scheduled to be seen right away. From our first appointment to learn what the problem was, it was clear this was a veterinarian who was knowledgeable and compassionate. Over the years, whether a routine visit or more pressing issue, her care and concern made me a more confident dog owner. Our furry patient loved Millie, Dr. Mike Tannenberger, (another stellar vet) and the rest of the Petit Brook staff so much, every ride to Colchester filled him with happy anticipation. Not long ago, our pet passed away- after a long and happy life. When Dr. Mike came out to the car to greet us that day, our very sick dog who had barely moved in hours, raised his head at the sight of him and tried to wag his tail. If that doesn't say "Five stars and then some" I don't know what does. We have a new buddy now, who will also be a patient at Petit Brook. I can't imagine taking him anywhere else.

She is very knowledgeable and keeps up on the newest research at conferences etc and applies that to her veterinarian care which is best in class. We share our time between the Valley and Boston and I make sure my dogs receive all their care from Dr. Anderson. She is better than veterinarian care back in Boston. This week our oldest lab had an emergency visit (severe temperature with severe pneumonia). She got him in immediately when we called and ensured to cover all details to get him onto the right medication for recovery. She is invested in her patients and you feel like family. She even followed up today even though it's her day off. You won't find a more dedicated vet.
