I got the perfect bed for my mother, who now resides in a memory care facility, from Burlington Bedrooms. Andy was extremely helpful in the showroom and showed me all the options without being the least bit pushy. The mattress was not only firm enough, but was in stock at the right price. The adjustable base that was ordered had a power cord issue, so Andy brought an upgraded version instead. The delivery went smoothly and Just a few days after my visit to the showroom. Andy and his young assistant removed the old mattress and box spring, and also rearranged two dressers to put the bed in my mother's preferred place. They were very professional and kind. In addition, they brought the old bedding back to the facility when someone there asked if they could have it! As if that wasn't good enough service, Andy came back again to adjust how the power cords were plugged in when the remote wasn't working. Quick fix. We purchased a couch in the beginning of 2021 and its now February of the following year and still no couch. They refuse to refund our money and the only statement we keep getting is that they will keep calling the manufacturer. Do not purchase anything here as there is a significant risk that you will be robbed of your money, and with little to no recourse. They are straight up thieves. We bought our futon from here about 9 months ago. Exceptional customer service and great prices. It is a solid wood frame with a spring mattress- very high quality. They even included a mattress cover. The process was stress free and the sales people clearly knew a lot about their furnature. They stand behind their products and provide quality customer service. I was pleasantly suprised with what I found here. I was recently in the market for a new bed, and I ended up choosing here. At first I was a little confused, since they seem to have an identity crisis about whether they're Burlington Bedrooms or Collette's Furniture, but either way, I was plesantly suprised with the selection, as I had visited litterally every other bed store within 40 miles of Burlington and had yet to find something I like (with the exception of a seriously overpriced $2000 matress somewhere else). As luck would have it, the first bed I tried was perfect, and the prices were (no kidding) about 1/2 the price of everyone else I checked (on the matresses anyways. The frames were still expensive). I ended up waiting a week and coming back before ordering, but I was very satisfied with the $700 I ended up spending to get a great mattress & boxspring. (I talked them into a free frame and delivery too!) All in all, I'd say definitely go here for your next mattress. read more

Decent selection, but definitely over priced. For being a local business, it is disappointing how unwilling the staff is to work with customers. They also constantly offer "sales" and make you feel like if you don't buy THAT day that you'll lose out on the sale pricing, yet the sale will continue for days... It's almost like they try and hook you making you think you're getting a great deal when you aren't at all. Even so, because they were local I decided to give them my business... Instantly regretting my decision. To make matters even more disappointing, a year after I purchased my mattress from them I called to see if I could get a plastic cover for the mattress to assist in my move--- and they told me I had to buy one. After spending over $1,000 on a bed the least they could do is provide a complimentary plastic cover. It costs them nothing and they get thrown away all the time. Needless to say I will NOT be a return customer and I highly recommend that if you are in the market for a bed that you shop around... Sadly, Burlington Bedrooms has made buying local an incredibly unpleasant and unworthy experience. read more

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase furniture from this store that you can't immediately drive away with. This was the worst furniture buying experience I've ever had. It seemed great at first, my husband and I picked out a beautiful Vermont Made bed with a memory foam mattress and were told it would take 2-4 weeks to deliver. We were glad to purchase locally and help out the smaller business in our area. Then things began to go downhill. After about two months of hearing absolutely nothing from Burlington Bedrooms, I finally called and was told that the mattress and bed frame were available but the headboard would be about another week. They delivered the mattress and bed frame and ensured the headboard would be shortly behind. After another couple weeks of hearing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from Burlington Bedrooms, I finally called again and was told that the headboard was still being made and to call back in a couple of weeks to check in. After 3 more weeks of waiting (and following up, because apparently they don't have the ability to contact you, and will only give you updates if you reach out for them), the headboard was delivered... the only problem was that it was THE WRONG HEADBOARD. I finally got around to calling them about a week after the WRONG HEADBOARD was delivered to inform them of the mistake and all of a sudden it became MY FAULT that I had waited so long to tell them about the discrepancy. I assured them that they did not want to start a conversation with me about delays... They also informed me that their receipt listed a "solid maple" bed, but I assured them that my receipt listed a "cherry panel", obviously they were not capable of tracking a product through their system from purchase to delivery. None of this would have bothered me SO MUCH except for the fact that their sales associate AND owner were extremely rude about the entire situation and more convinced that I had made some sort of mistake rather than trying to correct the situation. Burlington Bedrooms will not be receiving any more of my business, I plan to inform every person I know that I would not recommend they bring their business, and I hope this review proves helpful to anyone who may be considering purchasing furniture from this store. read more

My son's waterbed developed a leak last weekend so I decided to shop local. Burlington Bedrooms is one of the few places where I can still get traditional parts. So I spoke with Andy Monday afternoon. After double checking my measurements he assured me that he could get what I needed. I asked about expedited shipping and thought I was told overnight. Perhaps I heard wrong. But I called on Wednesday and spoke with Kathleen. All she could tell me was that she didn't do the ordering and Andy wasn't available. I felt she was very rude and uninterested in assisting me. By the way, I had paid with my credit card at the time I ordered. So on Thursday afternoon I called and again spoke with Kathleen. This time she was very annoyed that I was bothering her again. I got a bit upset and told her that if my product wasn't there today I was going to stop payment. She hung up. Funny thing is, she called back in three minutes and my order was in. Makes me wonder how long it sat there and when they were going to call me. I immediately went to pick it up. Kathleen waited on me and when I asked about a receipt she told me to " take my order and just leave"!!! Great customer service. I paid almost twice what I would have on line and got this treatment! Sadly, this is why I shop Amazon. read more
