The ladies that work here are really nice, but a few of them are nit-picky and particular. They will correct you if you try to over-load or over-suds the machines. (I saw this happen one time a few months ago and a guy went off on the very nice woman. She said to him that the machines break too frequently and it's her job to make sure that it doesn't happen. I'm pretty sure he mumbled an expletive but she looked at me and just rolled her eyes.) I understand where they're coming from though cause I hate showing up with a bunch of broken machines. One of the ladies even informed me that doing one $5.00 HE load is equivalent to doing 3 regular washing machines full at $2.00 each ($6.00 total) so I've been saving $1.00 every time I come in. Woohoo! I've learned to avoid Sunday mornings and afternoons if at all possible. I've come throughout the week in the mornings and they're pretty busy but not as bad as Sundays. The ultimate best time to come is on Friday and Saturday nights. They are absolutely dead and it'll just be you and the laundromat employee. They also recently upgraded and there's flat screen TVs and a whole new wall of dryers. Score! Perks: there's also a Donut King connected to it, so bring 90 cents to grab a donut while you wait. It's in a good neighborhood and near a dollar store so getting snacks or something is very convenient. My only complain the prices for the detergent they sell is a little pricey but fair. Just bring your own detergent and soap and you should be good. Overall a good place to wash your clothes and the bathrooms are nice and clean and aren't like gas stations.
