Zero stars would be more accurate. The people that work there are very rude.Trying to schedule drive times was very difficult. Time slots were few and far between needing to refresh and start over and over and over.Driving instructors having kids use their drive times to take them to get food at the drive thru. Go anywhere else! read more

Lies all lies!! Believed the bs about avoiding the wait at the DPS but it's not true. You still have to go get a learners permit so just adds an unnecessary step and waste money. Maybe it's a good thing for 1st time drivers etc but read more

They have an amazing classroom and Teacher. They have seriously upped their Drive times too. Love the instructors, and tons of drive times available now. read more

I hate to do this but I wish I had an honest review of this place when I was trying to navigate drivers Ed for the first time. My child did both the classroom and drive time with this location. The classroom was as expected, boring but necessary. My child said it was torture but we've all been through the class, it's hard to make it fun. I don't have any complaints about the classroom. It was just as expected. However, we took the classroom a year ago. I wanted to make sure I gave us enough time to get the driving in without feeling stressed. A year was barely enough time. When I say booking drive time is like playing Russian roulette that is being mild about it. I ended up having to set an alarm on my phone to log in RIGHT on time, and hit refresh like I was trying to buy the hottest toy on Santa's wish list. It was ridiculous. You had to be so fast that sometimes it would say booked only to be taken away. I swear there must be 500 people competing for 12 spaces. The lack of care we got when I contacted the driving academy was sad. Almost seemed like they didn't care since they already had my money. This is by far my BIGGEST complaint with this business. Their system is very very broken. Now to touch on the cars and driving instructors. Look, it takes a saint to want to teach teenagers to drive as a job. There's a reason I paid for them to do it. The instructors themselves where great. No complaints from my child. The cars however where in very rough shape. One had a temporary tag and no A/C working. The other we drove rattled and the A/C only worked when they where moving. Obviously they are not keeping up with regular maintenance. If I could go back in time I would have booked with their competitor Maverick in town. We ended up going there for a practice driving test and my child's DMV driving test. Maverick was easy to schedule and office wise a much better experience. I have been told I am not the first to do such. Save yourself the heartache and look into other options. read more

I would give zero stars, if possible, for all the reasons others have stated: 1. Overcrowded 2. Rude, mis- or uninformed staff 3. Total lack of communication 4. COMPLETELY unable to schedule drive times and they don't care. Just 'refresh' is their best advice. They have been an absolute nightmare to work with and i wish I had checked these reviews first. RUN, do not walk, away from this place. read more

Worse driving school. They go out of their way to charge bogus fees to pocket the extra money. The lady at the front is rude and unprofessional and lies. We showed up to driving lessons and the instructor never showed we were hit with $40 fees for their incompetence. This is their crooked way of making extra cash. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! read more

Terrible experience. Purchased adult driver training online in June. Scheduled driver time in early August because they were booked up through then. Called in early August to confirm, and they have no record of our time being scheduled. Now we are back at square one. I asked for a refund because I'm not going to do business with a company that makes promises it can't deliver on, and it appears as though they don't want to give one. Thankfully my credit card company will handle it but I was very surprised at their lack of care for the customer. read more

Overall pretty good. Nice people. Very strict. The teacher is a good person and teaches very well. I have to admit it is a hassle getting there everyday because i live very far but its not too bad. I believe if your kids listen they can get it done no problem, also make sure to not miss any days! read more

Do not answer phone or return messages. Computer program always has something wrong making it near impossible to get drive time.

Would NOT recommend! We had trouble right off the bat getting drive time that was after 4:00 pm. Schools around this area don't get out until 3:45 or 4:00. I had to make a fuss to get times for my son especially to fit in after athletics or on Saturdays. When it came time to test there were hardly any dates available that week. I had to transfer him to Maverick Driving Academy to get a test. They take your money and make it hard for your child to get a drivers license. read more

This is to review the school in North Richland Hills, not Burleson. Why does the female have to be so rude when you call in to ask a question? Why is she so rude when SHE is the one who is late on posting drive times? I have had interaction with her several times over the telephone with simple questions and each and every time she has made me feel stupid for asking a pertinent question. I can only hope that my child is getting better treatment and the knowledge/skills he needs to be prepared as a driver on these dangerous roads! read more

If I could give no stars I would. The drive time issue is ridiculous, the responses that I got from employees there were rude and condescending, and the response time was so long that our contract just so happened to "expire" on the date they called me back and stated I would have to pay extra, then asked why i didn't call earlier if I knew it was going to expire. this after leaving emails and phone calls for a month. DO NOT use this place read more

Absolutely worst driving academy. First of all it is hard to schedule any drive time. Usually have to wait 10-15 minutes until you can actually drive. We were running late one time and called the office 5 times to inform them and no one answered. They ended up not letting my brother drive even though we usually have to wait. They cancelled one of his classes and are currently still trying to charge us $40 for that one and the late arrival. When we told the front desk person that THEY cancelled one of our classes she called us liars and is still insisting on us paying. Terrible customer service and overall just a bad business. read more

Place is over crowded. They will find any reason to take money from you and refuse to reason at all. Very rude and unprofessional. The classrooms are beyond city limit capacity and if there was a fire maybe one student would make it out alive. There is a back door but like any over crowed building, to many people trying to get out is shameful they would do this. No only is this place a hazard but passes kids along to get good reviews because they didn't have to work for anything. The driving portion is horrible. My daughter didn't learn anything and had to be taught completely at home. A lot of wasted time. The school will be reported . Never seen anyone run a business like this. Maybe they need to go back to college for business or go to college. There's no words for the incompetence that is shown there. I wouldn't want my kid dead in a car accident because of their lack of training. read more

When you drive up your not sure if it's actually still in business. I had called several places for my teen to take driving time. I thought this one picked up from your home as well I have since learned that is not the case at all. We paid the extra fee to schedule online and their time is limited I believe they have one instructor and one drive vehicle. We missed our first drive as we misunderstood when the lady called us back she informed us we would be charged $40 for a no show fee. I said we would like to request a refund as not having pick up would not work for us. So now without any service provided to us we have been charged a 20.00 online fee a $40 no show fee and now we are being told they always charge a $50 admin fee. Yet they will not even provide us a copy of the contract. When using a driving school ask everything and ask again, this place I would run screaming in the other direction away from and go elsewhere. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! These are the rudest people and the worst business i have ever encountered. The lady instructor does not even know what the state guidelines are. They will make up reasons for you to have to come back and charge you $25 extra for having to reschedule. I ended up going to First Class Driving on Bryant-Irvin and they were so nice and helpful and like night and day compared to Burleson. read more

Just as the other reviewer said, classroom portion was excellent and went without a hitch. The driving portion is a whole other story. They are deliberately overbooking to maximize revenue and there are simply not enough cars or slots to get all the kids through the drive times in the 6 months alotted.....nevermind the infuriating online booking system they use. The system only allows booking a week in advance and the booking opens at 4:30pm on Mondays. If you aren't logged in at 4:30 on the dot, no exaggeration, you won't be able to get a slot. I'm taking my daughter elsewhere for the driving portion. Don't send your kid here...inconvenient ripoff. read more

Class is typical driving school. Have no reason not to 5 star that part. Good luck getting a drive time for your student though. They have are getting more students through the classes than they are able to get through the actual driving. If you want your teen to be almost 16 by the time they finish with this school then it is the place for him/her. Mine is going on 4 months past his class finish date and has only just now got the second drive time scheduled. I have called twice and am told to be on at a certain time and keep refreshing to get a class. This should not be necessary. Classes are gone within minutes. Good Luck! read more

I thought I was paying for someone to teach my child how to drive. They do teacher class work and help teach behind the will. I taught both of my daughters how to drive and I didn't want to go threw that again. So I'm disappointed and mad if I knew this ahead of time I would have taught him for a lot less money. I don't understand why I had to pay an additional $20 for behind the wheel. They did help with a lot of the paperwork with DMV. They never answered the phones and the parking lot is a disaster. read more

Do not do business here! I chose this company because they advertised they could pick my child up from school to take the course. I should have known from the beginning this was going to be a bad idea teaming up with this place. I attempted to call several times to get my daughter signed up and no one ever called me back. So one day I stopped by there and after hollering out in the building someone came up to help me. I told her I needed to get my daughter signed up and of course at that time she was a nice as she could be. Now it's several months later and it's time for her to do her drive time. So again I start calling and calling and I get no return calls. I sent multiple emails with no response. So of course I drive down there again to see what is going on. The lady at the desk was extremely rude. I told her I have been try to call repeatedly and her response was "We always return calls." Seriously...if that were the case I wouldn't have had to come up there. I explained I'm trying to get my daughter registered for the drive time and it said it would only take 24 hours. It's been a week now and still nothing. She said well it's not our fault that you waited till the last minute. Seriously...I wasn't asking for special favors, I wasn't complaining that we are down to the wire...I simply wanted to get her registered to do her drive times. So she begins to tell me they are now going to have to charge me since my contract is almost up. They said the $299 price was good for one year. After that I have to pay all over again. I didn't argue...I simply said ok so how do I get her signed up. She then said "Well if you will give me a minute I'm trying to look it up." By this time I'm irritated so I said I didn't come in here for rude remarks I just need to get my daughter signed up for drive times! So she said she was the only one that could help me get signed up. She said the owner won't help me and other workers won't help me....is she kidding me? I was shocked. Then she said she could fit her in the following week at 1-3 time slot. I said she is in highschool and doesn't get out of school until 4. She said "Oh then in that case we have Thursday from 1-3". I said, "Are you even listening to me? I just said she doesn't get out of school until 4!" She then said, "You don't have to be rude about it." Needless to say this story doesn't get better. I then called Maverick Driving Academy and they were amazing on the phone and walked me through what to do to transfer her from this horrible place! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

The cost and frustration were not worth to come to this place for your driving test. the charge was $50.00 for your convenience instead waiting a month out at DMV-no complain on that part. My daughter didn't realize that she had to have a parent or legal guardian (she had her brother is 27 yrs old) to be present so she was able to take the driving test. No refund will be issued and another $25.00 if she decided to reschedule. It would be 5 times more that what you would have paid at DMV-RIPOFF!!!!! The lady named Carol would not budged eventhough my husband drove from Irving and there was a no show appointment-Carol would not let my daughter take that empty slot. She would not elaborated what her last name or who is in charged of the office or agreed to waive the $25.00. Terrible customer service and nothing but greed and yes, GREED is should be the name of the company. Will not recommend any parent to allow your teenager to take the course from this place. read more

Horrible! Avoid at all cost. This is not the place for people that have regular working hours. Classroom portion was ok. Their parking lot is a hazard if you are picking up or dropping off. Communication is a joke, if you call you will get voicemail and no return call unless you are signing up for a class. Drive times can only be scheduled online with a minimum 10 day span between drives. They never have enough times and they are always full. If you happen to luck into a time you can get your kid there make sure you are early, otherwise they will charge you. They will call you with less than 24 hour notice to cancel, they have done this to us twice. I was under the misguided notion it would be better once school was out but nooooooo. The times are 8:00am-4:00pm. Great for those that don't work normal hours. You will rarely find Saturday hours but if you drive by there are 4 training cars sitting in their parking lot. This business is run poorly. read more

My daughter was very bored with the classroom portion of this class. She said the teacher just read straight from the book with no deviation/discussion. We could have done that at home. I wanted someone to teach and explain not just read the book. There was also a lack of supervision of the students. I heard numerous stories of one of them sneaking off and doing things during class. She also said the bathroom door does not have a lock...seems something easy to fix. I cannot yet rate the driving portion as we have been unable to start this. I was told she would be given the information during her classroom portion on how to sign up for the driving. She never received this. I thought maybe I could figure it out but it asks for a code. I have called numerous times (during their business hours) and always get voice mail. I tried sending an email as listed on the website...a few weeks later and no response. I have left two voice mails and no return call. Quite aggravating! Reading the other reviews I suspect I'll be even more irritated when we do get to sign up to drive. I guess finishing my daughters training is not a priority for these people since they already have our money! Don't use this school...go to the other one. That is where I'll be sending my son after this experience! read more
