POOR MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE. The only thing left that this place has going for it are the views, which are much the same from other venues with better management. A cover charge is fine if you are not going to overfill the venue to the point that you can't even find a spot to stand and drink your overpriced drink. Rude arrogance will get you no-where, especially when you offer not much of anything else worthy of note, except a view that can be found everywhere in Qld. Far, far better fare and atmosphere elsewhere, especially the far superior Sunshine Coast where all restauranteurs love mixing with and socialising with their patrons to hear how much they loved their lunch or dinner. read more

Trash place, horrible food, way too overpriced. Terrible services, will never go there ever again

Our family of 5 had a very diasappinting experience at Burleigh Pavilion. While waiting for our food that we had ordered, we had to leave our outside table due to sudden downpour of rain. Unable to find any available tables , we asked if kitchen could hold off bringing our food until a table becomes available . A very arrogant staff member offered us to take the food as takeaway as she could not guarantee she can keep our food warm while table becomes available. A great solution after we had driven 2 hrs to dine there. The highlight of our experience was when our food was set on uncleaned table with stuff from previous people that was not cleaned properly till the end of our meal. A couple of items from our order was also missing and we had to chase it up. Have never seen a restaurant/ bar this chaotic! Will never dine again here. Not worth the disappointment. The whole vibe of this place is just boring, It's trying too hard to be something it's not. Very tacky decor and the food tasted like unseasoned dirt. I was "trying" to enjoy my meal when they asked another gentleman who was eating with friend's to leave because they spotted that he had tattoos?! The entire situation made me and my group feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed for the establishment. It's 2024 and well over 330 million people on earth have tattoos (many of which are indigenous) the racist owner of this establishment needs to get with the times and grow a brain, he's throwing money out of the window while discriminating against indigenous people and others. I will never return to this establishment and would advise everyone else to avoid it at all costs. I couldn't even finish my food because of the situation, I left WITHOUT paying a dime and so did both of my colleagues :) read more

Terrible place worth terrible standards. They actually kick people out that do not meet the standards of a venue. Saw so many innocent people get kicked out for nothing. Security holds its standards so low and its a disgrace. This place is not good for a party or any event. read more

Killer view and loved loved loved the decor and vibes of the whole place but unfortunately our whole group ended up being quite disappointed with the food. Great spot to grab a drink though! read more

Couldn't disagree more with the other review here. I had a fantastic experience at the Burleigh Pavillion both in the afternoon and at night. Drinks were on point, staff was both friendly and attentive, and the location is beautiful! I'd highly recommend it for a mid-day bite and beer after a walk through the nature preserve. Oysters were also great! read more

My friends and I are from Melbourne and staying in Mermaid beach for a holiday we thought Burleigh Pavilion would be a fun first night out in Gold Coast. After getting there at 7pm and waiting 50 minutes we slowly moved up to the front of the line and a security guard comes out and refuses us entry because one of us was wearing a tee shirt even though many people before us got in with tee shirts he then yelled 'get the fuck out of the line' when we tried ask about it. Im sure the venue hosts great nights but they let many people push in the line and 2 separate fights were started within the 50 minutes we were there. Pathetic security. read more

Food is overpriced for its quality. Not cooked properly or no taste. Better food at the surf club down 200m away.
