She always takes the time to ask what I like, whether I want to change the shape or color, and what I wasn't happy with from the previous time. This visit, she introduced me to a newer technique called nanoblading. She mentioned that many places charge almost double for it, but she didn't charge me extra. The results were amazing and so much more natural! It did take about twice as long, but Soo was incredibly meticulous and took extra care to make sure I was completely happy. She even made additional touch-ups before I left. I really appreciate her attention to detail and dedication to getting it right. Highly recommend Soo if you're looking for beautiful, natural-looking brows!

Granted there were others who offered a lower price, but my friend liked how Soo did my eyebrows years ago. My friend had very lightly colored eyebrows, and she is now very pleased with the final results. Initially, she thought the eyebrows were a bit too thin and not quite long enough. However, she mentioned that she appreciated the gradual change, as this was her first experience with eyebrow microblading. You will certainly see a significant difference between her before and after photographs.

I'm an esthetician and former permanent makeup artist myself, I was extremely particular about who I saw to retouch my old, correction needing work. I spent about a year checking out Angela's work, and when other beauty professionals kept recommending her it solidified my plan to schedule with her. Her work has lasted longer than I anticipated, and her colors have stayed true and all the fading looks soft and perfectly blended. Every thing about the experience with Angela is top notch: she actually measures your make up down to micro-millimeters to assure absolute symmetry, she goes above State Board hygiene standards, she uses the best numbing products possible, and best of all, she is very honest about what she expects your results to be. I can't recommend her enough, after all these years, she remains worth my drive from West LA and then some!

I had to ask for multiple reapplications of the numbing cream, and to be honest, I wish I had found Salin sooner. I had been looking to get eyeliner done because as I age and can no longer see clear up close (don't get me started with trying to put on eyeliner with reading glasses), my eyeliner just looks horrible. After following Salin's page, I decided to go for it. I developed allergies to magnetic eyeliners since I was wearing magnetic lashes, and I needed to do something about my appearance. I made an appointment and drove an hour out to see her. My best advice is to arrive early because of traffic. Yes, you do have to pay before the procedure. The price is adjusted depending on the shape you want. I didn't mind that. I understood that this was a business, and who knows, maybe she got scammed before. Anyway, I was willing to pay extra because I have hooded eyes, and like I mentioned before, I have difficulty putting on eyeliner. Being Asian, my eyes are hooded and small, and I have no eyelid crease. So I have a different problem entirely. We spent a good 30 minutes getting the shape right. I wasn't picky about the shape because she is a professional, and after seeing photos of her work, I trusted her judgment and told her to do what she felt was best. We changed shapes twice, and honestly, I am glad she did. The first drawn in line was ok. However, when my eyes were open, you couldn't see them. She changed it to a different style I have never seen before and WOW! My eyes look way better! I don't look so tired! I will also add that I felt no pain! So much that I fell asleep, and she said I was snoring a little! :) Anyways, the procedure from the time I arrived to the time I left was around 3 hours long. Salin is truly worth it. I will return to her to fix my lip blush. Also, keep in mind. Not many permanent makeup artists work on the eyelid. She is truly a master. For those commenting on thick eyeliner, it is worth it for people with hooded eyes like me. If you had big eyes with an eyelid crease, you may not need it. But for someone with eyelids like mine... I need it. If she teaches it to her students, it's good because she is accommodating all different eye shapes. I made an appointment for a touch up next month. Can't wait!

This is by far the best eyebrow experience I've ever had!…read more My natural brows are very sparse and uneven, and I used to spend so much time every morning trying to draw them in. A friend recommended this studio to me, and I decided to try the individual hair stroke technique -- and I'm so glad I did! The artist is incredibly skilled and detail-oriented. She designed a brow shape that perfectly fits my face and looks super natural -- like real hair! The strokes are so fine and realistic, you can hardly tell it's a tattoo. There was almost no redness after the session, and the healing process was fast and smooth. The best part? My friends keep telling me I look more refreshed and polished. And now I save so much time every morning -- no more brow pencils! Highly recommend this place to anyone with thin brows or looking for a more natural, low-maintenance look.

thank you for respecting my decision. I just want to clarify a few things regarding my experience…read more I did follow the pre-care instructions and was very careful during the healing process. I washed my face but made sure not to wet my eyebrows as instructed. I understand that I was provided aftercare instructions by email and paper instructions would've been helpful as well and I wasn't aware that by the third day my eyebrows could be wet, I was under the impression that you have to wait for your eyebrows to be completely healed. Meaning wait for the scabs to fall off. That's why I was careful not to wet them. However, I don't feel that this explains or justifies the final outcome of my eyebrows. I did have an allergic reaction during the healing process, but now that my eyebrows are completely healed, there are still no visible hair-like strokes from the nano brows. My eyebrows honestly look as though nothing was done, which is very disappointing considering the price I paid. I also understand that one side of my face may have been more relaxed than the other, but I still feel that shouldn't have resulted in such a noticeably uneven arch. I did my research beforehand because I was told I would be in good hands, and I trusted that I would receive a natural, hair-like result. Looking back, I probably should have researched other artists more carefully, even if it meant paying more, because I may have had a different outcome. Unfortunately, I feel that the money I spent did not result in what I was promised or expected. I'm not saying this to be disrespectful or to argue. I'm simply being honest about my experience and why I've decided not to continue with a second session. I just want you to know this is my honest review of my experience at your salon. I wish you well in your business. Thank you again for respecting my decision.
