It's now 2024, and they still have some of the families money, they never call back nor return email messages. My father-in-law is now dead and my husband is juggling helping his mother and this is still lingering 12 years later. We are in California so can't just go to the office and demand service. In December 2022 he asked to pay the final bill and have the balance of the estate sent. In January of 2024 we are still waiting for this action. I hope someone will reach out and resolve closing the estate so I can improve this review and we can all move on. In the end I could not get property insurance on the land so we passed on that and bought another lot without those issues. The single most ineffective and negligent Lawyer a person could ever hire…read more Note to Janet: When your client is being sued for "rectification" of a separation agreement, it's a good idea to find out first, what the other side is seeking to have rectified! Instead of launching yourself in to an unnecessary (and expensive to your client), campaign of discovery that was of no benefit to your client, did not answer the fundamental question of the lawsuit, namely what the other side was seeking to have rectified, but certainly lined your pockets with your clients hard earned money. As it turned out, the rectification the other side was seeking was not germane to the separation agreement at all and was, for the most part erroneous. A good lawyer could have had the claim dismissed in short order, but then again, you're not a good lawyer, I trusted you and you failed to provide the quality of service expected of a competent lawyer, costing me my home, $96,500 I never recovered back from my "X" and almost everything else. But you made sure you were paid! F you Janet Clark

Communication was professional, and I appreciated the option for a payment plan at the end. However, when I requested a small fee reduction near the close of my case--more as a gesture of goodwill than a critique of her billing--I was met with a very rigid response. That, combined with some earlier concerns, left me feeling that the service lacked the level of care and client-centered approach I had hoped for. Others may have different experiences, but for me, the legal guidance didn't always meet the level of attentiveness I needed during such a sensitive chapter in my life.

I checked with the office and we started anew. To make things right for me, Rhonda completed the will at end of the same day, gave me overnight to check the rather complicated details, made adjustments the next day and came to the house to ensure I had the will signed and completed on time and on budget. I've also had Ms Murray deal with an executor issue of property transfer; a matter of creating legal documents for a personal, short term loan; and a family court issue. I find Ms. Murray easy to deal with, straightforward, knowledgeable on these various matters and trustworthy.
