I was surprised there were some quiet study areas. No coffee shop like some college campus's but the commissary is close by.

Of course I live here, it's 7:30 on a Wednesday night in Wichita Falls, do you think I'm passing through town to steal a $7.00 book when I can check a book out for free in any city in the United States? Or maybe the bustling mid-week night life this city has to offer is what brought me to town, right? Hopefully it was just the guy being lazy so close to closing (he mentioned the computers turning off automatically at 8, and how it would take SO much time to fill out all the paperwork), rather than policy.

Luckily, the Nye Library is there to help. When first checking into a new base, I generally head straight for the library. My ID card allows me time to sit at the computer and send out regular updates, and a book is always a welcome addition in my satchel, especially as we wait in one office after another. One of the best things about the DoD library system is that all of the catalogues are searchable, all are online for you to browse at home, and the Inter Library Loan system is worldwide!

With that being said, if you are not sure about your future for school but you want to give it a trail run........ this is a great 4 year university for that.
