Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion, the cost does not match the taste. Kinda blah.

There are a number of reasons I like Neuhaus the best: - Of course, the chocolates are delicious. - A lot of the stores will allow you to sample any one that you choose (though this particular location didn't allow me to sample anything), so I was able to find ones that I really liked. - There was a large variety of pre-packaged chocolates, and I was able to find something in every price range (as gifts). - There are a number of different box sizes to choose from to make your own custom box of chocolates. - Friendly, multi-lingual customer service in all locations. I found out that there is one store in the US in New York, but my mother-in-law informed me that the chocolates there aren't as fresh as the ones I hand selected from Belgium. :)

First off, the store inside is beautiful. If you go to the back, you can see these huge chocolate sculptures that they made. The people who work there are so nice too. They gave me and my friends so many samples to try. My favorites were deadly delicious (apparently Billie Eilish's favorite) and the tarte citron. I also tried the chill pill, which was definitely not my cup of tea. The grass flavor was so strong, but the chocolate itself was so pretty! I bought each of my friends a box of 5 chocolates. It was so fun to see them try each different flavor together. It's such an easy gift, and the chocolates are very reasonably priced too! Be careful when you're traveling with them though - some of the tarte citrons did break because they're so fragile. If you want fun, creative chocolates, this is the place to go!

The quality is truly the best in Antwerp and with such a wide variety of flavors, you can find something for everyone. The staff there is top notch, they are very knowledgeable about chocolate and are warm/ friendly. Top picks; Antwerp Diamond (white with champagne truffle filling), Rubens Pallet (milk with walnut filling), and TNT (dark with lemon/eucalyptus ganache and CO2 - yes, tastes like pop rocks, very unique!, red hearts (milk with fruit filling - these are both tasty and beautiful). Enjoy!

Our most recent order was very custom - we specified which pralines we wanted in each box. We weren't sure of the names of the pralines, but they were incredibly helpful. We received our meticulously packed order and are preparing to send them to friends and family via Post. The size of the little box is perfect for slipping into a mailing envelope. It's a special treat for our U.S. friends and family to receive such a high quality product. Of course, we had to conduct our own taste test first. Delicious!
