As a vegetarian, I had the ravioli one night and the pesto pasta another. The other 5 in my party had pretty much everything on the menu, and we all raved about it. The main course comes with a generous portion of salad (one night the salad was a tomato salad, one night a leafy green salad). Both nights we devoured the salads and couldn't believe the size or quality of them. Alex, the server, was so kind and helpful. It was truly a remarkable dining experience. Tonight was no exception!Found Römerburg for dinner tonight along with my husband, mom and daughter who is last year in College ( and very opinionated)! The owner named Bernardo seated us at a great table! Felt instant chemistry with our new a German Friend. We laughed, learned about his family who worked there. Great drinks were serve to all of us, had a little flammkuken as an appetizer which hit the spot. From The awesome hearty soup , to the pork, beef cheek special that came right from his wife who does all the kitchen quality. They served a fresh baguette which was heavenly. The hollandaise was homemade and you can tell the chef put in lots of effort. The waitress was super friendly. Ambience is very nice. The staff were friendly and versed in English. We ordered off the snack menu and got pastrami sandwiches, tomato soup, and goat cheese and walnut salad. The portions are huge. This no snack. The pastrami was perfect and the bread exceptional. The presentation was exquisite. The tomato soup was the best I ever had in my life. It was hot, dotted with chives, and a dollop of sour cream. It all worked! Awesome place!!
