I ate here on a recent trip to Granada. Honestly, this was the best ham and cheese sandwich of my life. I don't know what their secret sauce is, but it's well worth your dollars. The preparation, the aging, the combination of great quality meat with an in-house cheese that is also something to write home about all on its own make for the perfect sandwich. The house made chips are also vinegary, salty, and a perfect complement to their sandwiches. Portions are large enough to split and there's a park with a square across the street where you can eat. 10/10.

After walking past this shop so many times and seeing the abundance of iberico pig legs hanging on…read morethe wall, I was finally seduced by the bocadillos displayed behind the window; those draping slices of jamon iberico just looked so good for only €3.90. Fortunately, the sandwich was just as satisfying as it looked. For their sandwiches, they drape the slices of jamon iberico over the edges of the bread to make it look like a ton of meat, but they really do contain a lot of meat. The sandwiches I have had here contained way more meat than the sandwiches I have had at some other meat shops in Spain. And those velvety thin slices of ham were so rich, savory, and nearly melt in your mouth. Not to mention the bread was good, too. The crusty outside is a nice contrast to the soft ham, and the soft fluffy inside perfectly absorbs the delicious oil from the ham. Just a delicious and cheap bocadillo de jamon iberico that I wouldn't mind getting again. And if you have more money to spend, their freshly sliced ham looks like top quality meat.

Fabulous breakfast!!!…read more This was the most delightful breakfast that we've had since in Spain. The restaurant was small and cozy, with seating inside and outside on the sidewalk. The owner really wanted everything to be perfect and appealing- from the music to the taste to the visual. Very eclectic decor and music playlist, but very warm. The owner does speak English and the menu has English and french(?- I forget, but think so). You can get coffee and tea, but, as opposed to other breakfast places where it's only bread with toppings or muffins, Él Arbolito has fresh fruit salad, bowl of fiber cereal mixed topped with yogurt and fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, a homemade cake, or even a sandwich. I got the cereal with the fresh fruit- the fruit was so sweet, that it didn't need any other sweeteners. It came with fresh juice- which he made me grapefruit- orange-strawberry and coffee or tea. It was a large, filling breakfast. My husband got a vegetarian sandwich with coffee, and for everything it was 10.20 €. The food was delicious. If we were to be here longer, I would be going here daily for breakfast. A wonderful find. I highly recommend it!
