Before I go into full detail on this review, I personally wanted to give mad props and a shoutout…read moreto the young male employee that worked effortlessly all by himself on a busy Saturday afternoon. This takes me "Dream Ice Cream Parlor", one of the few family-owned ice cream parlors in the Stockton area. Located in a strip mall and on the corner of West Ln/E. March Ln, this place has been serving up its delicious varieties of traditional and unique ice creams and desserts dating back to early-2017. I came here with my lady during the afternoon on Saturday 8/22/2026 at 3:00pm. Parking was not difficult as it is shared with many other businesses. Upon arrival, it was quite busy as there was at least a dozen customers ahead of us still waiting to order. During our wait, we observed the menu and noticed they offer more than just your standard ice cream (in a cup or cone). This place offers "Dream Buns" which is ice cream between a donut. Another exclusive item is their "Puffles" which is ice cream in a cup with an added bubble waffle. In addition to this, they also carry milkshakes as well as your choice of either churro or brownie sundaes. Jump forward 27 minutes later and it was finally our time to order. Considering there was only one employee running the show, I will not knock any points (or stars as Yelp goes) off this review. As for what we ordered, my lady went with a traditional scoop of strawberry ice cream complete with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. I opted for an old-fashioned sugar cone of their chocolate flavor. However, since the ice cream was not chilled at a certain temperature, the employee was gracious enough to give me more + put it in a cup. Think of it as a 2 for 1 deal while I only paid for the price of a single scoop. Despite the long wait time, this place was well worth it. The overall taste, consistency, and flavor of the ice cream was top notch and delicious. The interior layout was fairly spacious but lacking in seating as there was only so many chairs if you choose on enjoying your dessert inside. Keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. But they are open from 2-10pm Thursday through Monday. With that said and done, I am giving "Dream Ice Cream Parlor" in Stockton a perfect five out of five stars.

Tosti-Locos and fruit cups with chammoy and Tajín are also in the menu. Drinks: La Michoacana has the option of aguas frescas, fresh fruit juices, and other prepared drinks. Cleanness: La Michoacana is one of the most clean food places I have ever encounter. It smells clean as soon as you step in the door and the staff is always keeping and maintaining the place neat. Another plus of this place is the food and fruits display, it is a piece or art to see the fresh fruit in the fridges. Staff: They make you feel like you're at home. They help you out in case you have questions and they are always ready to provide suggestions. Ambiance: there is not enough room to seat inside although they also have the option to enjoy your food outside. The music is for sure a plus in this place, they have a vast music selection which will make you dance a little as you are ordering and waiting for your food. Parking: there is parking right outside the place and in case those are filled, one can always park by the street and it is a nice 1-2 minute walking distance. Note: [I'm sorry for the poor image quality, I will make sure to go back and take a better one]

So definitely, it'd be nice to keep up with demand.. speaking of the machines, they definitely needed a little bit of cleaning. A lot of residue yogurt was left on the pans. But the yogurt itself was good. Not the creamier texture but it had a more lighter, almost water based texture to it.

Came to Gleason's after a car show and was quite satisfied by our snacks!…read more Gleason's is in a kinda sketchy part of Stockton, but inside it is like you're transported to an old-school ice cream shop with too many menu items and those incandescent Christmas bulbs lining the windows. The SO and I ordered two ice creams and a chili cheese fries to-go. Pralines and cream - SO's go-to and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Birthday cake - creamy and icing-level sweet, but I did find pockets of ice. Chili cheese fries - we got the large size and this lasted at least 2 good meals. They used crinkle-cut fries, the liquid nacho cheese and the 7-Eleven style mystery "meat". Still good. Service was quick and easy. Nothing notable. Worth a return if we're ever in the area and want a sweet treat.

I checked out their menu board and decided on the panini, but when I went up to order, they said they didn't have it. I got the torta instead. My husband wanted an al pastor burrito, but they also said they didn't have that either so he had to choose a different meat. We ordered the large size and were excited to see the order before us come out because the drink looked really big. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out and the size large drink was definitely not large. The tea tased ok though. As for the food, it was disappointing. Neither of us was able to get what we actually wanted and the food was bland and basic. There was a slab of cold white cheese in my sandwich and everything was dry and unappetizing. We did like the fresh cucumbers and oranges in the tray even though it is a bit unusual. I also like that they have outdoor seating that is covered. There are three tables in front so I was able to bring my dog while we sat and waited but $35 for a milk tea, sandwich and burrito is a bit much, so I was expecting much higher quality. With so many options in the area, I would probably not return.
