We decided to go inside to eat this time so we could enjoy our food before we headed to Raleigh. It took awhile for our order to be taken & the cashier seemed upset, but I got her to laugh. So, that was a good thing. We got the wings and things combo and a kiddie finger meal. They gave us a number & eventually brought it to our table. The fries were fresh, but the chicken wasn't. Neither was the toast. For all the customers in the drive thru and inside the restaurant who got food before us, I don't understand why it wasn't all fresh. After we ate, we got some chocolate chip cookies to go. They were yummy. I will probably be back soon. Hopefully all of our food will be fresh then & I can update this review.

My Mother in law frequent your restaurant and on this past Monday June 30th, 2025 around 5p Mama went to order two meal with two apple pies . Once Mama made it to the cashier she asked her to pull up to the front and park at the area marked #1 . Mama said why do I need to pull up the cashier stated that the pies were cooking and it would be about 10 minutes and she would bring them out . Well Mama didn't have ten minutes so she asked for a refund . Then a man walked up and offered her two cookies or strawberry pies. Mama explained to him she doesn't like strawberry pies and didn't want cookies. Although Mama didn't want the cookies she didn't want to spend days looking for her refund so she the offer of receiving two cookies but then she was told by the Manager he had to go to the back to get the cookies so still waiting for them to give her the cookies after 10 minutes of waiting she went on and left with nothing and your restaurant kept my Mama's $5. Now we are totally confused about what took them so long to get the cookies or why didn't they just give her the pies after having to wait so long. This is not acceptable.. This actually is a form of Elderly Abuse..

I did an online order to pick up when I saw it was on the route to our destination and the only thing I can complain about is that we had to big bags with food... including potato salad and baked beans and there was no type or fork or spoon in either of the bags. Or any napkins. Being that they stapled the bags together, i thought they would have at least put some eating utensils in the bag.... But that's okay... we just didn't eat it because we were in a roadtrip and didn't notice until we were back on the highway... it looked delicious... The dark meat chicken and the tenders were cooked to perfection... the wings on the other hand were VERY overcooked. The meat was really hard. The bbq sandwich was a little too sweet for me. Although i prefer sweet bbq over the vinegar taste, this was too sweet for me... but a good flavor. The bathroom was very clean. The dining area was very clean also. Customer service, I'll give like a 7/10. I stood there for a little while and neither of the two guys working the front greeted me or even acknowledged and I was standing there. When the young man who was packing the orders, I think he may have been a manager or supervisor because he had on a white button up shirt with a tie saw me standing there for a little while, he came over and greeted me and helped me get my order. Overall a decent experience... Food was hot and fresh. We would go back.
